    Default selective mutism

Hi there im all new to this but I was hoping that there's anyone with a child with selective mutism. My son hasn't spoken at his school at all not to his friends or any teachers. He is now year 1 going onto year 2 next year. He talks at home but its hard to understand him most of times. Hes goin to speech therapy and a psychologist.
I thought he might have grown out of it by now I guess. Any advice would be great!
is there anyone going through it with their little one.

I think the best thing to do for him is to just support him. It can be hard when they don't talk and it's selective but maybe he just doesn't feel comfortable. Keep going with the therapy sessions and hopefully you'll hear him talking a lot more soon x
