Default Stupid Thing That Upset Us When We Are Hormonal

I know when I'm hormonal I can be extremely sensitive. Particularly since I have come of birth control.

Last month I cried over an animated department store christmas commercial (the 2013 John Lewis advertisement, on Youtube) and this morning I am really upset about a baby owl in our front yard that hurt it's wing, I almost cried cause I have to go to work today instead of taking care of it. DH is home to take care of it but seriously, normally I would just leave it to DH.

I thought I would start this thread so we can share these and not feel so insane.

I burst into tears last night because dp put his own dinner in the oven and didn't put mine in. He gave me that what the f**k is wrong with you look. 😳 I also started tearing up watching some flash mob marriage proposal on YouTube the other day.

These pg hormones will be the death of me.

Default Stupid Thing That Upset Us When We Are Hormonal

Edited to add, I read this post as a happy thing not upset (mis read the post). Anyway I'll leave it here cause I'm not a crier but the cat made me emotional with his offer of support.

    --
When my cat hugged me. I'm such a sook. I picked him up last night and he put his paws either side of my neck and pressed his face to the side of mine.

He's only done that 2 or 3 times but he actually squeezes like you do in a hug.

This morning I had a melt down because the yolk on DH's fried eggs split. So I went to hide in the bathroom to cry. It made sense at the time ...
