My before and after school care offers breakfast and afternoon tea. The hours for before and after school care and vacation care is 7:30-6. The vacation care only covers lunch on some days, but I'd rather provide food considering some of these prices are more than what my daycare charges

Looks like I'm going to have the same problem. How on earth does the government expect mums to go back to work with so many stars to align, and you get almost all of it there, paying money, but can't get the last little bit done, so you can't work anyway!

So true I was stressing about after school care so we put our name down for a couple of places just in case. If we didn't get a spot there is no way I could find a job with school hours. Good luck hope you find something soon.

Our is $11 for before school and with rebate and ccb I pay $6.11 per day with breakfast provided if wanted and is from 6.30am to about 8.30 I think they head up to their classes.
After school care I think is about $16 per day
Vacation care ranges from $40 - $55 depending on what they are doing

Well I just got the vacation care schedule and my daughter will be going to vacation care for 7 days over the holidays. Total cost for everything on those 7 days is $220.50 and that includes excursions like the movies (with popcorn and water combo) playcentre, etc. and lunch included on 2 of those days and ice cream cold rock style on another day. Averages out to be $31.50 day.
