Dd will be 10mths. At the moment all she's getting is a fisher price make up mirror! Seriously stumped on gifts for her at the moment.

Both kids will also get a new set of pjs, Christmas book and Christmas movie in the chrissy eve box.

We have 4 nieces aged 3 - 6 and they are all getting a fairy door.
Idea for your dd. Fisher price little people. I got the big farm set for my dd first birthday and have since added a lot more sets and she has played with it everyday since she got it and she is now over two and her older cousins also love it. Great investment!

DS is 3 and as usual I have gone overboard. I don't like giving clothes as I buy them all year and I don't think he gets any enjoyment out of them as a gift.

    This year he is getting
    7ft trampoline $169
5 puzzles (wooden ones) about $100
    a blackboard easel $40
    a water table $40
and I think I will get some duplo.

I always intended to come back to this thread once I had completed my shopping so here goes! My complete Christmas shopping total for my 3 children (7) (4) (1) is $1246.55

Keep in mind that $300 went to my dds new desk which I'd never normally spend on one gift but it's an important gift this year.

The above total is inclusive of everything clothes, shoes, books, pens, trinkets, main gifts, shared gifts etc!

I will most likely add a chocolate stocking to their stocking closer to Christmas so probably $15 there but that's completely it from us to them!

    So $1246.55

Outside of own kids gifts, how many people do you have to buy for?

    I have
    2 parents
    2 sisters
    1 bro in law
    2 uncles
    7 nieces/nephews (10,11,14,15,18,18,19)

Even though I've finished dds finding this stressful!

Eekk...I have just realised that there is only 3 weeks left of school. I have done no Christmas shopping for the kids at all. So I need to buy for my both DD who are 7 and 10. I haven't even thought about it to be honest

I got DP got some Batman cuff links to wear for a black tie party we have coming up so that was part of his present :O

I haven't bought my 2 kids presents yet either! I have to think of how I can go to the shops without them. Want to get ds ninja turtles figurines and for dd Olaf and other stuff from frozen. Plan on spending about $100-$150 each.

I don't buy presents for anyone else.

My DS will be 4 months by Christmas. He is getting some peter rabbit books, a woven wrap and a pram liner.
I've bought things we need to get him (ie pram liner) and things I want for him (woven wrap) and called it Christmas!
He'll also get Christmas pjs we'll put him in on Christmas Eve.
I'm thinking of getting him a Sophie the giraffe now I've read through this thread.

No idea what to buy DD 2.5 and DS 3 months.

To be honest anything we get DS will be a waste as I can't even rip open the gift wrap and DD has everything she can possibly want and need (other than more time 1 on 1 with me since DS came along.)

I might just get her some sheets and quilt for her cot for when we turnout into a bed for her in Februaryish.
