    Holy sh*tballs....

10 eggs fertilized. 10! Seriously, wtf! I just said to DH, finally we've done something right. I wonder how many will still be going on Monday? Whatever they don't use they'll grow out to day 5 and freeze.

Default 2014 at last! Time for some bfps! #4

Well, I am officially PUPO !
    Feeling nervous.
Didn't take a pic of embryo coz it hadn't fully re expanded but was still in process of expanding when we did it. I was a bit disappointed at how it looked but the scientist said it was doing everything they like it to do, so fingers crossed.
They only had to thaw the one so we still have 1 frosty as well 😊

Fantastic news for both of you. PUPO & lots of fert. Very exciting.
Em be prepared to lose 60%, the 5 day growing process is rigorous! But you know it means what makes it has a much better chance of resulting in a pregnancy.

I'd be very happy with 4! I'm still feeling a bit bloated, but no real pain. I didn't even need anything extra for pain relief yesterday bar the panadeine forte they have as a pre-med. I only had the heat pack on in recovery otherwise I felt pretty good most of the day. It's hard to know if the bloating is OHSS related (they said I was more at risk of it due to the amount of follicles I had, though unlikely because my bloods were awesome) or IBS related. Or it could be that I've eaten so much food today so that on top of IBS stuff could make me feel loads worse. Who knows! Hopefully I feel better tomorrow when today's pig out is digested better lol

So glad you've done well. I was a bit hunched the next day but pretty good all things considered.

Once you've had an embryo transferred into your uterus you are "Pregnant Until Proven Otherwise"

Joining the PUPO club Fi! Woohoo! We can suffer through the TWW together haha.

    So here are the stats...
    - 12 eggs collected
    - 10 eggs fertilized
    - 1 embryo transferred (a lovely 8 cell embryo as described by the scientist)
    - 1 embryo lagging and not looking too good (over 50% fragmented and a day behind)
    - 8 embryos dividing and looking pretty schmick.

Will likely get a call on Wednesday to let us know how many survived to day 5 and are suitable to freeze. Will definitely get a call Thursday to let us know the final count of frozen embryos with our names on them!

DH was cute. He's very excited and was also really excited when they said he could come in with me for the transfer. I think he feels so disconnected from the whole process sometimes so it was great he could actually be there for the moment I technically became pregnant! Now just have to wait and see if this embryo burrows in and gives us a beautiful baby come October!

That's an amazing number still growing. Your body is clearly made for IVF. Nice work.

It's nice to have your husband in the room when you're actually being impregnated isn't it.... Though one transfer hubby was away on work and I kinda hoped that was the successful one because it would make a cool story growing up Hahahaha
