    Ooh exciting

    Good luck everyone!

    I have some news....
I had an ultrasound yesterday and can confirm Bub number 2 is growing :-) we are due August. I didn't want to say anything as our earlier dating scan showed evidence of possible twins (only 5 w +4) and it was confirmed we lost one or it didn't develop properly but we have one super strong Bub and we are thrilled! I'm only 10+2 though so early days.

@M'LadyEm - how's the jabbing going? Are you being monitored a lot or only a few BTs?

Jabbing is ok. The orgalutran is giving me some localized redness each morning but fades after a few hours. I wasn't paying attention this morning and did one of the injections too high and holy f-balls did it hurt, and that was just from the needle itself! I had my first blood test and scan this morning (Tuesday) and they want me to increase my dose of Puregon from tomorrow. I'm not sure exactly how many follicles are growing up as she was only talking about the biggest 2 today. One is 10mm and the other is 11mm. I'll have another scan and blood test on Friday to determine when collection will be. It was supposed to be tentatively booked for Monday with transfer on Wednesday, but that may not happen now. I was told today not to book days off just yet, so perhaps they're thinking another few days so we'll just have to wait and see.

Em that all sounds pretty normal. They very rarely get the estimated day right as there's just no way of knowing how you'll react to the drugs. Just keep grinding! You are doing great x

Yeah I'm not too stressed. The only thing that will bother me is if they bump egg collection from Monday to Wednesday (Tuesday is a public holiday so I assume they'll work around that) as i'll have to coordinate better with DH cos I'll be coming off a night shift. The bonus of it being on Monday is that I don't have to go to work til night time, so we could go in early then DH can still work from home/go into work. Collection is done with just local so I won't need him to babysit me after its all done at least. If it's done on Wednesday I'd like to be able to come home and shower first. Will be a lot nicer for everyone lol. If they did collection Monday then transfer would be Friday and my sister and nephew would be up then. My sister knows what's going on so at least she's happy for us just to plan things around what's going on. I don't know if I'm being naive about it or not, but once collection is done I should be right to just get on with my normal day - which means doing stuff with my nephew! Im not too stressed about any of it (not in my nature), I just go with the flow.

Collection is a local? Interesting! It's a general here.
