@Shrillian, it went well! Start injections next Wednesday! Have been on the OCP and finish taking that tomorrow. Baseline bloods on Tuesday and pick up drugs. Estimated day of collection is Jan 25. Estimated day of transfer is Jan 27!

@M'LadyEm - woohoo! Definitely all systems a go! What FSH will you be taking?

    I'm so excited for you!

    Are you excited? Nervous? Numb?

Not sure as yet. I will find out on Tuesday! All I know is it's either Gonal F or Puregon (no idea how many options there are). I'm not sure how I feel yet. It's not yet real because I haven't actually started yet. I think next week it will become real when I first start stabbing myself (not looking forward to that part lol).

I used Puregon for both the stim cycle and FET.

Have you decided whether you'll inject in the morning or evening?

I did it at night, so that I could sleep through any side effects (if I got any).

Also, the first time was weird, just cause it didn't seem right to be injecting myself! But got fine after. Made DH watch the first few times, but he didn't like that much. 😆

Tbh I haven't thought about it. When I see the nurses on Tuesday i can ask what they think. Find out what the expected side effects are and whether it will affect timing of trigger injection etc. I'm not hugely worried about the injections. I've done it before with the ovidrel in my IUI cycles. It'd be nice if DH would learn though so he could do one or 2 for me! Last day of the pill today... Next stop, the REAL drugs!
