I really have to stop looking at stuff on the Internet. My emby looks nothing like the ones you see when you google day 5 blastocysts!!! The cell mass looks like I am having a giant baby!!! Well, DH is 6ft7...
But seriously, starting to worry that it wasn't quite right
Had acupuncture today which was very relaxing, and will have an early night tonight. Tuesday can't come fast enough!

Well my bhcg blood test is this morning. I will be waiting outside pathology before 8am for when they open.
    Not feeling very confident though.
Did a hpt this morning and it was a bfn, so maybe bloods will be different but I just don't think so
    Will let you know.

Well it was a BFN for me yesterday so the whole cycle was a failure. No more embryos, only had the one that even kinda made it to day 5. Have an appt with specialist next week but due to the total failure of all my eggs I suspect she might not recommend any more cycles. (This was only our first ever).
Fingers crossed I don't have to give up on my dream just yet but not feeling too hopeful.
Think I am gonna have a break from BH for a while coz everything baby is making me upset right now.
All the best to all of you and I hope there are a lot of BFP's in this group in the future x

    Hi,

My first cycle was a BFN as well. 17 eggs, with only one making it to 5 days. At my post-cycle catchup my FS said that next cycle we'd change my FSH to a different (natural) one to give me less eggs, but higher quality ones.

Just saying that there are many different methods for this and as this was only the first attempt, they will now have a better understanding of how your body responds to meds and can make a more informed judgement for the next cycle.

I'm really sorry this wasn't your cycle. Please don't be too hard on yourself. I know that's easier said than done. a break is a good idea. I did the same after my failed cycle.

We're always here if you need us. *big hugs*
