Thansk @emski72 - I have tried hypnosis in the past, not for a while, but it doesn't seem to work for me :-( I do suffer with a lot of anxiety, I have to drug myself to the eyeballs to get on a plane, and I've done everything for that - fear of flying courses, hypnosis, biodfeedback, trauma counseling, all sorts of stuff. What does seem to work is saturation - one year I had to do 35 flights during the year, and when I flew several times over a week, by the last one I was like - yep, whatever, another flight! But with a break, I'm a freak again :-)

With the needles I use Emla cream to numb before I go for a blood test, so I'm thinking I'll do the same for the injections. I think maybe the thought of it is worse than it actually is, so I'm going to have a go this month and see if I can do it, with Emla, ice and in private as if my DH was around I just couldn't do it. It's one of those things I think that I have to keep to myself and do on my own to get through it my way.

I am also scared of hospitals as well, except now that I've had three D & C's that fear is fading... So I think exposure works well to get me over it, so hopefully it will be the same with the injections.

Good haul Letsmakeithappen. So I assume they're freezing on day 5? Can sympathise with feeling yuck after EPU (egg pick up). You'll get used to the abbreviations. Fingers crossed you'll never need another EPU with those numbers!

Sounds like you have a plan that fits in with your life Leisylou. Good on you for fitting this around your life. I have done it the other way around, ivf first, rest of life second!

wow, great work @LetsMakeItHappen. good luck with them all
@Leisylou I look away in blood tests too as I tend to faint if I see the blood leaving me. though the tests every few days for ivf aren't too bad as it's a small amount but I still look away in case. doing the needles wasn't as bad as I thought they'd be as they're very thin (the ones I do anyway). waiting for one to mix & getting the bubbles out was hardest part for me. at the start, I just kept thinking, if I do this, we'll have the baby, so pushed through. (even though it didn't turn out yet). your plan sounds good though, good luck

Wow @Chiefsgirl what a regime you've had to deal with. Good luck for EPU, sounds like you've got some goers.
AFM, got my BT results and had my baseline scan in prep for the next FET. My HCG was 4 at the end of last week so should be zero by now. That took longer than I expected. My lining thickness is around 6mm and looks like I haven't O'd yet, so I'm guessing by that thickness that maybe in a weeks time I should be BD'ing all over the place if I have any chance of a natural pregnancy . I guess with all that news, I reckon AF won't be appearing for maybe 3 weeks, so FET in about another 5 WEEKS !! So far away...... one thing IVF has taught me is patience. Luckily.

Hi, and positive vibes to everyone else !
@leyshoja If my dates are anything to go by I won't be far behind you, maybe a week. Good luck with the BDing

Thanks, I'm gonna need it ! I actually thought you were due for FET by end of Feb, so thought I'd be behind you. I reckon I'll be mid March now.
@LetsMakeItHappen you have achieved what most of us here dream about - 17 is a huge haul - you are so lucky !! I have embie envy again. Here's a couple of terms for you
BD - baby dancing (getting funky with hubby)
    DP - dear partner
    DH - dear husband
    AF - aunt flo
    CD1 - cycle day 1
    O'd - ovulated
POAS - pee on a stick
Thats all I can think of for now, I remember seeing a huge list somewhere when I was googling but there's not really that many used regularly.

PS I'm also a look-away-er with the needles.

spoke to our FS today. DP doesn't want to pay lots for more fresh cycles any more. so we're going to try the frozen next - possibly feb/march. I booked an appointment at RPA - next available was early may! so, hopefully we won't need it, but it's a backup plan for cheaper fresh cycles. they have a limit of 3 & up to 45, so said I might only get 1-2 in there anyway. trying naturally in meantime too. hoping the frostie is the one, as we're almost at the end of the (my own eggs) road. at least it's a plan

Winsor, that sounds like a great plan. This frostie could be the one.

Leyshoja, agree if there's one thing we learn it's patience. There always seems to be a waiting game, TWW, waiting for af and for me the three week wait for CGH results...

Bongley, have you decided what you are doing next?

Letsmakeithappen, so do you have more info on your embies at day 5?

    Nereid how's the TWW?

MGC Bertie, I've lost track, are you nearing the 12 week mark?

Chiefs, still on track for EPU Monday?

    Fudge, hope you are ok.

Skyler.... yes, I'm 11w2d today. I go for Harmony BT on Tues (11w5d), then 12 week scan the following Tues (12w5d), and then see my ob again on the Friday (13w1d). My MS is still fairly mild - some days worse than others, though I kind of think it's actually worse when I stay at home doing nothing, or perhaps it's just when I'm busy (such as at work), that I don't have a chance to worry about it. Other than that, still very little symptoms, except tiredness and not quite on the ball as usual, that I wouldn't even know I was pregnant. I worry so much that it's not normal, but then keep thinking I should actually be feeling happy that I have such mild symptoms. Instead I fell over yesterday and nicely bruised and grazed my knee, so that's taking my mind off things today!!
