@leyshoja I'm so sorry you're going through this. My heart really goes out to you. I've just been diagnosed with a chemical and now waiting for it come to it's likely end. Its only been a few days for me and feels like an eternity. Hugs x

Oh what a huge disappointment @Nereid I'm so sorry. This ivf sucks sometimes.

    Hi everyone

I am very excited to have gotten 3 faint lines on 2 different types of tests so I reckon the ivf worked. I am 8dp5dt so extremely early but hoping this baby sticks. Hubby is working so haven't even told him the great news, can't wait for him to come home. Blood test isn't until Monday week as the clinic doesn't do them at the weekend.

The icing on the cake of my day. So, blood test last Friday and again today to determine if my HCG is rising or falling and I can't find out the results because my specialist is in surgery all day and the IVF clinic will not see the results so I HAVE to talk to him !! I am so frustrated !! I just want to knowwwwwwwwwwwwww

    Default IVF over 40 #11

Update, my hcg was 63000 on Friday and 74000 today. To say I'm shocked would be an understatement

Still, that's almost a 13 day doubling time when it should be around 3 days. I'm still positive it's not going to end well

I was actually happier yesterday when I thought the pregnancy was all over, than I am now after finding out that I'm still pregnant. I got upset about it and accepted it almost a week ago, now it feels like I'm newly pregnant all over again but with a doomed pregnancy. I was and still am, so shocked. All symptoms disappeared last Wed/Thur and I was that sure I was done, that I started running on the treadmill again, had a sleeping tablet, went back onto normal coffee, had a couple of glasses of wine (irresponsible I know), and a dozen other little things that you just don't do when pregnant. DP, bless him, was saying all along that its not over till its over, and didn't ONCE say I told you so yesterday (I would have). Anyway, another ultrasound in an hour or so and I'm not expecting to see that any miracles have happened, so no doubt will come home from that even more stressed.
