Just got my update. Only 1 of our embies made it to blastocyst. Interestingly the FS has changed his mind and wants to transfer. Apparently he has been looking back through the research and found that transfers have worked with much higher levels of progesterone than mine. I was so gutted I just said yep, whatever you want. DH (who is grandly optimistic about everything in life) couldn't believe it when I called. So it looks like we're up for another round in 2015. Since I have already started to get pre AF pimples I don't rate our chances.
The FS also said he thought the egg quality was excellent and that the sperm might be an issue. DH had his sperm collected pre starting chemo so we are using frozen. But because he was so sick at the time of collection they think the quality of the sperm is poor. He wants us to consider using a sperm donor. Not sure what DH will think about that. I have never been concerned about egg donor but my DH is the sweetest guy I really hoped to have a baby that inherited some of his lovely personality. Still lots of time to think about that yet.

So I got seven, one might be immature. I'm happy with that. Now for the wait until tomorrow.
Any news on BT yet @MGC Bertie and @leyshoja?

Thanks Petal. Transfer is at 1:45 today. The time seems to have gone so slow today!

hmmm, lots of issues there, hope you and DH can sit down and thrash it out. A blastocyst is not to be sneezed at - there's a great chance that is an extremely strong embryo - well done - that makes complete sense since only 1/6 are likely to be normal. Courage under fire. Good luck.
