We do the traditional gifts - paper, wood etc, and also a lunch or dinner out together.

My hubby and I have a birthday that is one day apart....His 22nd March, mine 23rd March, and silly me, when we were planning our wedding, thought it would be cool to have it on the 21st March. So now, once a year, we celebrate our wedding anniversary and our birthdays 3 days in a row. All good in theory, but now we have 6 kids and we combine everything, even the presents! Not so great as we never have as much money as we would want to celebrate it with. So usually consists of 1 cake to share and 1 combined present...
Thanks for the chance to vent that...lol never really had a chance to write that anywhere

We're not married, but have been together nearly 11 years.
Our usual is to go out to dinner, just the two of us. I THINK we've managed it every year so far. Sometimes we might go to some kind of show as well.

geez, were really boring. DH usually remembers before me and says "happy anniversary" on his way out the door. I think we might have gone out for dinner one time, cant really remember now. We've been married 8 years so its not like its even been a long time!

Reading these I feel a bit bad!

We do nothing, our anniversary is on New Year's Eve and we are generally doing something New Years `Evey' with the kids, no cards, no gifts, we are just not really like that.

DH and I usually go to dinner. This year we're going to Gold Class at midday, then dinner at night, but not sure where yet

We don't do anything. Say happy anniversary, I usually have to ask how many years we've been married now (we're up to either 7 or 8 years) and that's it. We've been together for nearly 17 years and we celebrated every anniversary until we got married

Sometime in the afternoon one of us will ring the other to remind them what day it is. That's pretty much the extent of it.
