Default Baby seat in a 3 door Rav?

We have an older model 3 door Rav4. Now that DD is going to day care, we will need a car each fitted with a baby seat.

Is it even possible to have a seat fitted into a 3 door car. Has anyone done it? If I can avoid buying a new second car it would be awesome..

Do you want to RF or FF her? RF you are going to be restricted by the size of the seat. I use a SnS Compaq as it is one of the smallest RF seats. FF you will have a lot more choice. However in saying that only my hubby can sit in the passenger seat as I am too tall and the seat has to be all they way forward to fit the car seat in. My DD is 18 months and I am going to have to turn her soon as it is getting hard to get her in to the seat RF.

I would just go to a store and try a few seats it is the only way you'll know what works. But if I can fit one in my convertible mini there must be something on the market that will work.

I did have a 3 door RAV when my first Bub was born but we ended up upgrading to the 5 door when he was about a month old lol... I just remember it being awkward but it did take a baby seat!
