Default mediation - any advice or information ?

Just want to ask if anyone has gone to mediation and then had the ex come and had some parenting plans done? then this made into legal orders? what should I expect with attending the first mediation meeting ?

Mediation is just about trying to come to an agreement to then have put into formal orders.
If you do reach an agreement they can be written up and signed or the day or be posted out at a later date.
The issue then is getting the other party to actually sign them.

The other thing to be aware of is if it results in consent orders these may not be enforceable in the same way final orders are.

Thank you . I'm still undecided whether to make them legal re through court . Decisions ! Went for my first meeting on my own went ok it made it seem so much more real I suppose even watching the video at the start reduced me to tears ! I guess no one wants this to happen but what can you do things in life are never guaranteed . So far he has been ok re seeing her however I really want set days so she and me have a routine so hopefully that will be sorted soon in the joint meeting. I think its great her father wants to be in our baby's life I just really want some kind of routine set and mediation done so we can reduce conflict .
