    I cook mine with 1 cup white vinegar, 1 tablesppon of raw sugar, a bay leaf and 1 cinnamon quil. I cover the meat (unles its too big - then I turn it. I cook in the slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours

    Delicious. It just adds another element to the flavour. I even add some of the liquid to my white sauce to add extra flavour. That I could eat by the spoonful...
