And imagine if the little boy was being sexually abused... As if he would say anything with teachers and a classmate there! ****ing disgraceful.

I would angry if I was parent of either child . Now dare they make either child feel like they did. You need to make a big deal about this. Even if it's innocent behaviour the school should've handled it better . I would contact education department and see what they have to say

The education department will first ask if you've raised your concerns with the school, which is why I suggested contacting the principal. I agree that for both children this has been incredibly poorly handled.

But she did, didn't she? And they ignored her concerns when she said she was to be present during any conversation relating to this.

Oh and dd1 informed me it wasnt even the principal, it was the APRE (Assistant Principal- Religious Education) who acts as principal for the Jnr campus, the actual principal is based at Snr campus and wasnt involved today, and the class teacher.

That's disgraceful! I'd be furious too. Can you imagine if the police interviewed the victim and perpetrator together?? This is not just your run of the mill playground dispute which is how the school seem to have handled it.

I'm so sorry that not only has this happened but its been handled so badly by the school, lil miss. At a time when you really need support and harm minimisation they've let you down badly by contributing to the mess.

I'd take up Harvs offer of assistance writing a letter of complaint. Its a good thing you're changing schools next year already because after this I would not want my daughter to remain at the school.
