    Oh c r a p @Nereid and @Sue77 - I know how you feel. Unfortunately I got my hopes up this time and I've been very upset. But @BlondeinBrisvegas and @Helsbaby give me hope it can be done over 40.

    a blood test is compulsory at my clinic - as if I haven't been through enough now I have to endure that as well!

    @BlondeinBrisvegas not sure how fragmented - but FS was quite negative about that one. They wanted to see if it got to 5 days then freeze but I told them to do it straightaway - I didn't want to deal with any more waiting and wondering?

    There is so much heartbreak on this thread at the moment. It is a good thing be have our 2 babies and another on the way to prove this is possible. Don't give up hope, anything that is worth having is hard work.

    Hard work seeing a lovely girl 7 years younger than yourself not get preg with a pgd normal embryo onboard.. Hard to stay hopeful but we must somehow. Hugs to you @Sue77 - I reckon it's just a matter of time for you though hon.

    Blonde you make me smile every time you post!

    I'm feeling better today - felt like I was suffering a death of some kind, I was in shock. But my journey is not quite over yet if that's how I want it. Some thinking to be done over the next couple of months. I'm planning to date a little again so if I meet a gorgeous man I may leave my fertility future in the hands of the gods.

    Ever wonder that being over 40 and with eggs being so fragile that it may be more likely to fall preg naturally.. Rather than trying to achieve it with drugs and all the stress and how inviting is the body to an embryo after all that anyway? Okay for younger women with stronger eggs but maybe not for us (unless you get v v lucky like Hels). I so love @Kellyk77 story, she's beaten the odds. X

    @Jem70: Was compulsory at my previous FS's rooms also but after having to sit in a room with other Preggo women in Cycle 1 after my Chem then bawling my guts out when my BT was taken I decided there @ then never again plus I didn't like the biatch of a FN so told her over the ph when she told me I had to come in for BT on Cycle 2 that "I know what AF looks like @ if I didn't by now then there was something seriously wrong so I see no point in coming in. Make a note on my file". I didn't even bother to speak to her on Cycle 3's BFN, just asked the Admin chick to give her the msg that it was a BFN.

    @Kelly70: Right..here's the list.....

    Folic Acid: 5mg's/day. Megafol brand which is usually kept behind the counter at the chemist. Berocca..1/day though I substituted 1xMega B capsule instead as I found it hard to stomach the Berocca sometimes. Fish Oil..1000mg's a day, Zinc 40mg's a day, Vitamin E 500mg's (1000IU) a day (for your lining), Co-Enzyme Q10 200-400 mg's a day (I took 300mg's/day), Low dose aspirin 100mg's a day (to promote good blood flow to your ovaries @ oven) DHEA 75mg's a day (3x25mg caps), Melatonin..1x5mg capsule at night.

    I also added Vit D because I was low @ fresh Royal Jelly (1/2 tsp a day) though you could take it in capsule form as well. Now I know Lynn isn't a big fan of DHEA @ you didn't like it much either did u Luv? Either way..up to you if u want to take it. Some women have had good results using testosterone gel they rub onto their hands I think or testosterone patches instead of the DHEA but Wazza wasn't a fan of either when I asked him about it.

    I also had my TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) checked prior to Cycle 5 as the optimal level for conception @ fertility is 2 and under. Mine was 4 at the time which was right up against the ceiling of normal @ I was considered to have subclinical hypothyroidism. Through research I discovered I could do a preventative course of thyroxine to bring the level down. Ran it past Wazza to make sure it wouldn't affect my Cycle, eggs or embryo's (he's happy as long as the levels are within the normal parameters) he was supportive of my decision despite not thinking it was necessary @ gave me the green light to go ahead so went to my GP @ got a script after explaining it all to her too. I took the thyroxine a few weeks before my Cycle began all through stimm's, ET, 2WTorture @ my pregnancy when I got my BFP.

    I also had regular massages shortly before I began stimm's @ all through stimm's right up to ET. Stopped in the 2WTorture. I did regular meditation especially developed for IVF @ chose a theme song that I would play every day virtually to help keep me focused @ lift my spirits when I was feeling disheartened.

    Ok..gotta go for now. Hope this helps. If I think of anything else will post it when I canxoxo

    P.s..You'll get the most benefit if you can take all the supplements for at least 3 months. If not as long as you possibly can before you start Cycling again. Drop the DHEA down to 1xcaps a day from the first day of stimm's @ keep taking them all right up to the day before EPUxoxo

    Wow @BlondeinBrisvegas thank you!

    my only difference is I haven't tried DHEA and I take myo inositol. I got dhea off eBay but chickened out. I think I'm going to go for it.
    @Kelly70 we get a bit stronger every day! I have decided to do a 3 month hard core all the right supplements and try gluten and sugar free before a February/March try again. That will be my last shot with this donor. My absolute no looking back cut off is turning 45 next September so I am just going to suck up the pain and not feel sorry for myself. I'm not at the finish line yet.

    it has been a really sh1tty week for a few of us, but I'm ready to fight back!
