    Still waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiting.

Not getting much in the way of sleep anymore, too uncomfortable in bed on my hips and carpal tunnel means my hands go numb and ache at night.

Hoping for him to make an appearance sometime next week

Hi Ladies I had a double transfer yesterday of two morulas. They hadn't made it to blastocyst but the embryologist said it was early in the day and they were beginning to show signs of moving towards becoming blasts. Waz, bless him, is so upfront and honest and told me they aren't quite where he would have wanted them to be and my chances of getting pregnant this cycle aren't great. He doesn't sugar coat things, which is one of the things I like about him, but it was a bit confronting and knocked the wind out of my sails momentarily. Overall though I'm adopting Helsbaby's mindset that if an embie is going to stick it's going to stick. One of my other embies is starting to compact so I will ring a bit later to see if it can be frozen. I'm 7 months off turning 40 otherwise Waz would have transferred the 3 yesterday.

@Kelly70 this is my 2nd cycle with Waz. My first one was not good at all - 2 eggs from 8 follicles, only 1 fertilised and it stopped growing from day 2. Things he did different this time - switched me from a long down protocol to antagonist, changed from gonal f to menopur and bumped the dose to 600iu and then to 675iu from day 8 onwards (I started at 450iu and went up to 600iu the previous cycle). He also did a double trigger of pregnyl and ovidrel. He wasn't sure if it would be beneficial or not but said there was no harm in trying it and the reason for doing it was because I had so many empty follicles last time. In my 1st cycle with him I took scritrophin (growth hormone) but didn't this time.

@ScubaGal looking forward to hearing your update soon

    Have a great weekend everyone

@Penny75 Yippee!!!! Congrat's for being PUPO Luv!!! Plenty of bub's have come from Morula's Luv!! I remember distinctly the Embryologist who works for my original FS telling me one day when I was there speaking to him about our embryo's that he was on his way after our discussion to the hospital next door to meet up with my original FS to go and visit a woman on the ward who had just delivered a baby that was transferred as a Morula!!!

Yep, straight to the point is our Wazza, but that's one of the reasons I love him too He told me after our transfer last Cycle "Well, from this point on, they'll either keep going or else they'll stop. We've done all we can do, so good luck!!" Didn't fill me with confidence at the time, I can tell you, but @Helsbaby is right, if one of those embies has what it takes to keep on going and implant it will I believe, no matter what day it's transferred

Has Wazza got you doing Pregnyl on Day 3,6 and 9?? If so, that counts out POAS I suppose unless you test it out of your system??? Am and sending a storm your way for a BFP Luv!!!

    C'mon Embies!!!!

Did you get any frosties??? Hope so

Thank you @BlondeinBrisvegas I had pregnyl yesterday (day of transfer) and will have it again Tue (day 3) and Sat (day 7). I'm not sure whether to test it out after my last shot or just wait.

I didn't end up getting any frosties. It would have been a bonus if I did but I wasn't really expecting to so other than feeling a bit disappointed, I feel ok about it.

BlondeinBrisVegas, you might be able to answer this for me - do you know if it's ok to stick with the progesterone pessaries only instead of mixing it up with crinone? I can't stand crinone. I'm pretty sure Kate (FN) told me they are interchangeable but I've had a moment of doubt today.

@Penny75 Bugger about no frosties Luv, can totally relate. Yes, as far as I'm aware, they are interchangeable, so it shouldn't be a problem. They're both Progesterone, one being a slow release gel (Crinone) and the other the pessaries, so should be fine Luv

I used both for my Cycles (not sure what's been prescribed for you). Can always give Kate a call or shoot off an email to her just to clarify if you're still in doubt I should think as long as you're administering the correct amount every day, it should be all good

The POAS conundrum!!! I reckon you'll decide after your last shot what you're going to do!!! Will be watching this space for your updates!!!
