Thanks guys, Blonde, they will be all grown up and telling us off before we know it ! I'm also noticing that she's a different personality than me she will be more outgoing whereas I'm more chilled out. These things are evident in that she wants everyone to give her attention !!! That's definitely from the donor ! She looks like me though so doesn't stand out in family gatherings lol.

Penny, I've got good vibes for you and your embies, don't worry, it is hard but not impossible. You will have a mini me. What was your donor like ?

Kelly, hope you got a good donor also, have you picked him yet ? I know your iui will be in June, will be here before you know it. Ah haven't been to noosa in ages sounds fantastic !

    Thanks @ScubaGal, @BlondeinBrisvegas and @Helsbaby I'm feeling cautiously hopeful!

@Helsbaby my donor is from Xytex and is tall and blonde (I'm short and brunette). I chose him based on what he wrote in his essay more than anything - he just came across to me as a down to earth, normal guy. I've heard since that some ladies choose a donor who has similar physical features to them so their baby has more chance of looking like them but it didn't occur to me. How did you go about selecting your donor? Such a surreal thing really.

They grade them on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best but they say it's pretty rare that they see a grade 5 embryos. By day 3 they like the embryos to be between 6 - 8 cells.

@Penny75 WhooHoo!!! Yep, you won't see too many Grade 5's, most BFP's will come from a Grade 3/4. They're right where they should be. Even the 5 cell isn't out of the game. They like to see 5 cells at the very least but prefer them to be at the 6-8 cell stage

to get them accross the line to transfer on Sat!!!

    Go Embie's Go!!!!!

How are u doing Skylar ?

kelly 70 really shattering news about your brother, but try looking at the positive side of it that the chances of it having being spread to the brain are very low. I know it's a very hard time for your family but u need to stay strong girl ...like u have always been. All the tough times will come to a happy end very soon and I am sure he will get rid of this stupid disease out of his system.. Praying for you and your family in this hard time xoxo

My bloods showed a surge yest, so I ovulate today, which is day 14, and my transfer is planned for Tuesday .. Hopefully it sticks. I was so scared that I won't ovulate and the cycle will be cancelled due to that as we are doing a natural thaw cycle..let's see what happens.. It's just a numbers game in the end

a big hello to all the wonderful ladies here

Hi Sue! That's exciting, you are soon to transfer. Hoping you feel less pressure than you did with the known CGH normals. this one works for you.

Kelly70, so sorry about the latest developments with your bro. If there's anything worse than the ivf treadmill it's got to be the cancer journey. In regards to your dating scenario, seems like you've got it all worked out. I would definitely not put your fertility efforts on hold for a new man as you never know when or if he'll be ready to make a 'contribution'. Enjoy Noosa, very nice!

Good luck with this batch of embies Penny.

Helsbaby, I've never met you (on BH that is) but I sure have heard your story and read back through the thread to see how everything unfolded. I think stories like yours keep that little bit of hope alive for many of us. I'm glad to see everything is wonderful with your baby Angela.

Scubagal, looking forward to an announcement from you soon.

AFM, getting my endo investigated and seeing a new Gyno this month. Have almost given up all hope, but every now and then I see a little glimmer again.
