Hi lovelies It's been a busy couple of weeks but will catch up properly soon.
@Penny75 That's great that you've started with Wazza. I'd say go for it - don't wait! Time is so precious for us, even just a month makes some kind of difference. It's also the one element there's certainty about. Diet, supplements etc might help, but it's still a might... That's my unasked for two bobs worth anyway! :-) Best of luck x

Hi everyone - sorry I've been off radar - I've been having a Nicholas Sparks novel moment and reconnecting with the one that got away 20 years ago. IVF brings out emotions that make you do funny things! Probably going to end in tears!

so I've started cycling and am splitting my dose morning and night thanks for the tip @BlondeinBrisvegas

big wave @Penny75 congrats on getting into Wazza

good luck @Biscotti71 @littlesparrow74 @Sue77 and @Nereid looking forward to your updates.
@Kelly70 good luck with the man - he sounds divine. To anyone I missed!

@Jem70 That's great to hear. Love a rekindled romance! Hope it goes well and best of luck with your stimming. I wish I'd known about dose-splitting first round, in fact I wish I'd known so many things, but there you go x
@Kelly70 It's lovely to hear you're feeling like you do. So much of this is about state of mind... I remember those waves of certainty I used to have when making a big decision, and I feel like I've been missing that for a while. Time to get back in touch with something I've lost somewhere during this rocky journey.
@Sue77 for your pickup. It sounds like Lynn is taking good are of you x

afm I'm having transfer of embies 6 and 7 this afternoon. I feel a little apprehensive about it as my FS is away and I have heard not entirely positive stories about the Doctor who is covering for him... I think each time I feel less excited and more numb, but still grateful for the chance to transfer at all xx

Ohhh how exciting @Jem70 I really hope it works out for you on both fronts - a new relationship and a BFP for this cycle. How wonderful would that be?

@Nereid all the best for your transfer this afternoon! My fingers and toes are crossed tightly for you. Thanks for your advice too - always welcome and bang on I think. I've decided to kick my next cycle off pronto and will start sniffing this weekend.

@Sue77 is your scan today? Hope you've got some great looking follies there!

@Kelly70 when's your next date with the lovely new man?

Hope everyone else is going well!

Great numbers @Sue77. How was the Fert rate?

How did your FET go @Neried I had a not to pleasant experience with Bills locum so have opted to wait until his return.

AFM just waiting for AF to arrive then I'm on to cycle #7. Same old story when you want her to arrive she goes AWOL

How are you all travelling? @Kelly70 I hope NZ was great and the music man is still ringing your bells.

Thanks Littlesparrow74. Got the phone call . Out of 12 , 9 were mature and injected and 5 have fertilized and were 4 to 5 cells today ( Day 2). We will wait till the blastocyst stage. Let's see. Normally they begin to drop off after day 3. it's a very low numbers game for me this time as time Lynn has kept me on a very low dose stim protocol as she is trying to aim for quality. ..Godknows what will happen..

i hope u get your AF soon. They always seem to get delayed when they are needed.

    good luck everyone else.

@Sue77 5 is a good number you get some lovely blasties. There is a woman on the over forties thread who said she'd also had a tested embryo fail and how awful that was, it made me think of you and what you've been through.

@littlesparrow74 Oh dear, sorry to hear you had a bad experience... I considered postponing but have a wedding interstate next month, and after xmas break it felt like too long to wait.
I'm not sure how much of it was in my own head because I was feeling anxious, but the transfer wasn't great. It just felt awkward and although he was very nice about it all I left feeling sad and negative about my chances of success. We couldn't get an image mainly because I had mis-timed emptying my bladder and I didn't have anywhere near the wait I usually have... with Bill I wouldn't have worried but he did say 'it helps a bit' to have an image, which made my heart sink. He was just being honest, but I really don't think they have any idea how much 'a bit' means to us!
It just felt clumsy and awkward and at the crucial moment he apologised for not being able to give me a picture but his manner made me think - for one heart-stopping moment - that he'd dropped the embryos! Faaaarkkk!
