    Default Recommended vitamins for IVF

    Hi all,

DH and I are finally agreed to have one last attempt at IVF and getting a sibling for DS. We will wait until after Christmas so I have a couple of months to prep. Losing weight is at the top but trying to improve egg quality will be another. I did have a list of things I was taking but threw it out in a fit of having to get rid of anything IVF related.

    Here is what I remember
    Pre pregnancy vitamin
    Royal jelly
    Fish oil
    Zinc?
    Co enzyme q10

Can anyone add to the list especially for improving egg quality?

    Thank you! 😊

I'd add an anti oxidant like blackmores bioace and a vit D supplement

    Good luck!

I'd also add in coconut oil and butter as well.

Can you buy them as a supplement or do you mean to use them in cooking?

Yeah to use for cooking. Egg yolks are another source of good fats.

Anther good supplement for conception and pregnancy is fermented cod liver/butter oil. A little exxy but soo worth it.

    Good luck .

    Hi Muzzy,

We saw our FS today for a pre cycle appointment and we have a protocol to start in the New Year. Not too hopeful given my poor success previously but we feel we need to have one more shot at it.

We have/are considering adoption but the information session we went to wasn't that positive and time frames are long.

We just don't feel complete yet. Good luck to you 😊
