Default Have you ever seen a physic and are you a believer?

My girlfriend is desperate to go see the physic John Edward and just talked me in to going with her ( ok dinner at Jamie Oliver's restaurant and late night shopping helped the decision!) next Thursday night

I'm on the fence with wether or not I believe it all but I've never been to a physic before , if any thing it scares me a bit!

Have you ever been to a physic and were they right with anything they told you?

I think John Edward is a fraud (sorry!). But I have been to two who were scarily accurate and knew very personal details about things that there was no way they could have possibly found out or guessed. They were able to give exact names and details from events that had passed and of events yet to occur (which have since occurred & confirmed they were right), and able to give me messages from deceased relatives with precise names and details (eg. Their exact name and details of a specific concersation had with them). I consider myself to have a scientific mind. I don't believe anything without proof, so I have gone into it looking for a reason not to beleive them... But these two proved they had some sort of 'gift'. John Edwards does a lot vague guessing IMHO. But just have a lovely evening out with your friend, enjoy the dinner and the entertainment!

Ive had a psychic reading before and it was spot on- she mentioned details about things that nobody would know. However Im not a fan of the celebrity ones like John Edward.

Yep John Edward is a fraud
I would have spoken to around 20 psychics over the last 10 years and have only found 1 of them accurate with some sort of gift

I've seen a few, some were quite vague but one was scarily accurate without any prompting.

I've seen one many years ago. She got a few things right from my past, but it was all fairly common things anyway. She got nothing right about my current life, and nothing for the future.

    I think they're all frauds.

I've been to a few over the years, many were useless.
One even told me I'd have a boob job? If you knew me it's the last thing I need help with
But I have seen some good ones too.
I seem to get DH's father come through to me even though I never met him.
    Twice now with different readers.
I think he watches over his grandsons, which is lovely.

The last reader I saw was exactly a year ago.
A lot of what she read was for now, a years time.
A lot has happened so I would say she was a good one.

Either way, that sounds like a great night out with a friend.
I'd love a night out like that with my bestie.
    Have fun

I've been to three, two of them were rubbish but one of them did tell me some things about my family that were spot on & that no-one outside of the family would have known... She gave me a warning about the future but that didn't happen (well not yet anyway!?!?) It was a long time ago & I'm on the fence but always saying I'd love to give it another go. Hope you have a good night & let us know what happens!!!

A fraud who exploits the bereaved, a very low act by any measure.

This is an excellent video on how cold reading is done.
