    I had a very strange clear orange tacky discharge the morning I went into labour. I assumed that was the mucus plug.

    yes.. on the friday 39 +5... waters broke saturday night and had DS sunday night.. 24 hrs of labour ... 19 years ago.... never forgot the shock of my waters breaking as i sat down on the couch to watch a TV...

    Dd1 no was induced after waters broke at 40weeks
    Dd2 yes lost my plug at around 6am at 39+5 she was born after two hours of labour at 12pm that day

    Yes about 8 hours before I started with pre-labour and about 22 hours before I gave birth to DS.

    I had an elective c sect at 38 +4 but started loosing my plug and getting irregular contractions about 36 hrs prior
