I'm getting a donkey, due with #2 in jan and ds is turning 3 on the weekend. I just want to have a great pram that will do two if I need to and still be great in single mode. I also wanted side by side.

City select is much heavier and harder to maneuver IMHO. If price isn't an issue I'd rather go something that has resale value and is user friendly

I think have a definite set of features you need, whether it be light, double, durable tyres.. And go and test some out, having an open mind for what you need in a pram. I agree with PP that you cant have everything, but testing it out will give you a better appreciation than simply researching.

    Good luck

Here in townsville there's such a limited selection to try πŸ‘Ž

I might see if the one baby shop we have has them both!

I have a bugaboo buffalo and love it! I don't have a car so we walk everywhere. I also have a city mini gt as DSs daycare stroller as it is easy to fold and doesn't take up too much space at the daycare, I can also jog home if it's raining (which is often in London!). If I was having two kids close together I would have gotten the bugaboo donkey. I have lots of friends with the city select and bought a double home for my cousin last year as we were living in the USA and it is so much cheaper and she absolutely loves it. I agree there is no perfect pram for everyone but hopefully you can find the perfect one for you!

I'm leaning towards the city select based on the feedback I'm reading. Not a huge fan of the basket next to seat when using the donkey with one child. That's what puts me off that one

I love the basket!! Great for when popping into the supermarket for a few things with bub in pram and toddler walking. Gives me two hands to push pram and hold toddlers hand without having to try and hold a shopping basket too.

At the moment and for the next year or so I will just have the one child in it and maybe it's just cause I'm not used to it but it just looks weird to me lol silly I know I know 😜

Have been offered a strider 4 for $80 so may get that in mean time, sell phil and teds and save for city select!
