Default *SPIN OFF* Annoying or gross habits that your visitors have!

Spin off from Vic Park's shoes thread. Annoying things your visitors do that bug you? Mine -

leaving toilet seat up/pee stains on toilet. gross.
wiping hands on my bath towels not hand towel. yuck.
leaving empty toilet rolls in toilet roll holder when there is a bin there.
leaving shoes on - depends on my mood.
leaving a tsunami of water all over my bathroom sink when washing hands.
washing hands in my kitchen sink.
giving their toddler my fly swat to play with - eww.
picking up my books and not putting them back in the right spot.
farting at the dinner table. makes me feel stabby.

ok so I am super fussy. but I still find it gross. no wonder I hate visitors! lol.

The only thing that bothers me is when people leave the toilet seat up when they flush, thus spraying a tsunami of poo particles around my bathroom.

    Otherwise, nothing really

What we find most annoying when we have visitors is for some reason the need to bang doors loudly when closing them! I don't think some people realise, it's so loud especially when trying to sleep. Just close the bedroom/bathroom/toilet doors quietly

Really the thing that irks me the most is people who bring their kids over when they're clearly very unwell, without asking whether it's ok first. Not cool.

People who stay for too long. Like when you're about to cook dinner etc.

I don't really have visitors much, I rather be the visitor at other people's houses.

But one really really gross thing that my XMIL does is take the rubbish bag out of the bin, tie it up and then put it on the kitchen bench. Oh my Lordy, yuck. She mostly takes it out to the big bin but sometimes she forgets and I find it there after it's been sitting there all day leaking bin juice all over my kitchen bench. Who the h3ll does that??

I have this one friend who somehow goes through 3/4 of a roll of loo paper whenever she's here. Also turns it the wrong way round every time! She also leaves the toilet lid up, but closes the bathroom door.

In this house we put the lid on the toilet down, but have to leave the bathroom door open for the cat.

Mostly my bff....nothing is sacred with her. I had a christmas lunch here one day with friends, she was the first one here and sat at my beautifully set table, moved things, dumped her bag on the table, fed her baby a strawberry, left the stem on one side plate, wiped her hands on the napkin of the next place setting. On the inside I was .

When a guest arrives uninvited, or they tell you they are coming and bring their own guest.

Or they walk around my house when I have the lounge room door to the rest of the house closed.

I've learnt to be old and always have a stash of scotch fingers available these days, just like my grandparents.

Not so much now but I had issues with this when the kids were younger and trying to get them to bed etc. Most people take polite queues "Id better start getting ready for bed soon" but some dont get it!
