I've just changed my cleaning routine after having bub #3. Wednesday used to be my cleaning day but with a 10 week old it's hard to get it all done in a day!

So now I dust the entire house and clean both bathrooms in a Tuesday. General picking up and putting away, clearing off the bench tops etc. Then on Wednesdays I fully clean the kitchen, vacuum whole house and mop. I also wash all the linen every Wednesday. Doona covers are done once a fortnight. I wash clothes 3 times a week.
Every day I wipe down benches, run my stick vacuum around, clean spills, pack dishwasher etc.
Hubby does outside I don't even go there!

I always seem to do way too much

I do the dishes daily, washing 1-2 loads a day. I need to sweep every day, mop twice a week. Bathroom is straightened up every morning with a wipe over the vanity and towels/mat changed. Folding of clothes every day. Staightening up around the house daily. Dusting once a week. I've given up on the kids room I'll maybe clean them once a week tops when I get tired of the mess and shutting the door lol Toilet probably 2-3 times a week. Obviously I cook every night.

The fridge is a quick wipe every 2 weeks a big clean out every 8 weeks. We have glass shelves so they show up every mark.

Dishes; daily. This includes wiping down benches, stove, microwave, kettle, and roughly the fridge shelves.
    Washing; most days.
Floors; downstairs every 2 days, upstairs once a week. DS plays on floor in lounge, and we spend most of our time downstairs.
    Washing linen; fortnightly.
    Bathroom; weekly.
Toilets; daily! Bleach, scrub, wipe down.
Dusting; I try for weekly, but usually ends up fortnightly.
    Walls/ceiling fans/windows/sills; bimonthly.

    I try to stay on top of it otherwise I get overwhelmed and nothing gets done ;-;

This sounds like my cleaning "routine". Its very loosely based and has been known to slide often.

    Bathrooms- weekly.
Floors- every couple of days minimum. So many crumbs!!!
Kitchen- daily wipe down and weekly thorough clean including microwave etc
    Dusting- every couple of weeks
Windows- never. Only when the kids smear something really bad on them.
    Bed sheets- weekly.

And I can't keep up. House constantly looks dirty!

We have a cleaner that comes once a fortnight. On top of that I clean the ground floor floors (living, kitchen, dining and one toilet) daily- vacuum daily, steam mop every second day.
The kitchen gets cleaned daily and tidied twice a day. Living room tidied daily. I do as little dishes as possible and cram as much as possible into the dishwasher. The outside of the cupboards get wiped every other day but I rarely bother inside. The fridge is cleaned out when needed, probably every couple of months.
Upstairs (two more floors) get vacuumed once a fortnight by me ( on the off week of the cleaner) and I do as little as possible in the upstairs bathroom other than the vacuum.
Sheets are changed weekly. Bedrooms are tidied daily. Load of washing probably averages out at every other day, weather dependent.
    I don't iron.
