    @VicPark you do realise waaaaaay more germs are spread by bare hands than anything else? Why don't you ask them to take off their shoes then leave gloves by the door for them to wear while in your house?

    That will make them feel really welcome.

    For me its not the germs, its the fact of it. I dont walk in to someones home and swear in front of their children, or not flush the toilet, or leave my snotty tissues around..its just respecting the homeowners wishes!
