Default Won't poo unless standing up?

So dd has finally grasped the concept of potty/toilet, she takes herself to do wee's but when it comes to poos she'll sit on the toilet or potty for ages then say she hurts, she then gets of and plays for a bit then does poos on the floor, she really wants to do poos on the potty but it's almost like she can't poo unless standing up? Has anyone experienced this of have any advice, she's 3 in January.

Many cultures actually squat to poop, the body is designed that way. It maybe just what feels comfortable
