I hope it all gets under control soon and your DH is okay! You would think being in Munno Para you'd be safe from bushfires!

Well golden grove, banksia park is the current most serious risk but with an unpredictable fire and strong winds you never know. It is so close we were looking at the flames from our yard last night. We are outside the safe zone on the edge of the suburb and new estates so we have nothing between us and a fire if it comes this way which is a real risk unfortunately.

I am constantly frustrated by my sister's posts. She is in the U.S and has done nothing but complain about her stay since she left.

Thinking of all affected by the fires down south. The part of summer I dread.

Super proud of my boys especially. Santa and I got the kids an Xbox one for Christmas and I thought they'd want to be on it every waking hour and I'd be fighting with them constantly but they've only been on three times and for two hours at the very most. I haven't had to yell at them once!

Thinking of you all, in the non safer zones. We saw the smoke yesterday evening and had a bad feeling about this one
