Oh @Fiery, you're right, apparently it is a glass one and I had no idea, I am a complete novice in the world of photography and it does seem to be Dh's forte and he was trying to tell me all the benefits of this lens, but my mind was fixated on the cost and I guess compared to $20,000 his lens is probably cheap, lol. He didn't say the exact cost (he saw my face) but it's over $1000. He did try and humour me and say he was offered the $46,000 specialist lens, eeeekk!

No wonder photographs are so expensive! They need to pay off all the equipment

    Argh!
My DH is into photography too and has a full frame camera and it seems the most cost is in the lenses
Great, there is a never ending amount options for him to spend an enormous amount of money on haha!

    I am angry.

There was a meme put on facebook making fun of my nationality (german) and i wrote a really sarcastic comment as a retaliation saying at least i am from the master race and can make cuckoo clocks. I got some bogan with a southern cross tattoo sending me hate messages on new years.

Obviously the meme about being too smart to need help putting in a lightbulb and having no humour went over his head. Sigh

Going to be 30 this year. All I hope is that I won't be alone for it and with a life partner.

I am hearing you TableDancer, I suspect this lens will be the first of many 'have to haves' from now on.

Making progress, although doesn't feel like it!! Kitchen is packed which is the bulk of our stuff, linen cupboard packed. Just have to pack the few dvds we have, and whats left of kids toys, and dismantle the beds.

Now just hope like hell we get a call tomorrow saying we have the house!!

I am scratching my head as to why hubby's Aunty got our daughter a book about being a big sister when we've told anyone who asks that we're in no rush at all to have another baby. Presumptuous much?!
