I loved their sister restaurant at the Old Biscuit Mill Blinky - The Test Kitchen - it was something like 8 courses w/ matching wines for not far off $80 AUD and we are talking Michelin star food. I booked almost 4 months ahead though and only just got in.
I also recommend Mygoya restaurant at the Vineyard Hotel - it's won a heap of awards and the degustation is very good. Actually I'd recommend the Vineyard just for a visit in general it's a lovely old hotel they do high tea etc. The grounds are lovely.
We booked at Pot Luck Club last time but cancelled as it fell on the night of transfer.
    I'm very jealous!

Blinky and any other foodies, check out Dash Restaurant in the V&A hotel on the waterfront it is fabulous voted top restaurant in Cape Town recently I believe and quite reasonable for the 5 star food you get! Also in Franshoeck Le Petite Ferme & Babel for lunch are top notch but to get into Babel you need reservations 2 months in advance

Miss Sagi, Blinky76 and Pinkshootingstar - all very exciting everything crossed

Thank you for all the tips - paid deposit and booked flights last week for 20th March and 5 days from provisional transfer date until leaving now, instead of the 2 originally planned. Also thanks to Blinky looked at the qantas direct flights again and had come down in price. Would have posted sooner but 4 year old has been in hospital this weekend with exudative tonsillitis as he had stopped drinking - home now getting better.

All that food in Cape Town - sounds like some dieting required before trip for me!

Crabby yes..... qantas advertised $1499 return last night. Not sure travel dates but price was great.

Sounds like they are all having a delicious time in CT. The food is truly sensational. Slightly jealous..... right now being mindful of my potential future expansion, which horrifies me.

PinkSS – Thinking of you and wishing you the best with your transfer tomorrow.

Blinky and Miss Sagi – Your EPU’s are this week.. am wishing you both great numbers.

AFM – Arrived in the Mother City today. My first appointment’s tomorrow, and am a bit anxious about how my lining’s doing as well as how my donor’s doing. So I am a bit of a worry wart right now. I have an acupuncture appointment with Sarah in the morning before my appointment, so am hoping that it’ll calm me down .

Thanks Faith, all the best with your appointment tomorrow too and welcome to Cape Town! I think it's normal to worry at this stage of the game. I'll be thinking of you for your appointment tomorrow.

    Thanks Faith!
    Welcome to Cape Town 😀
Try not to stress I'm certain you will be fine , the doctors are fabulous and will/can adjust medications to help your lining should it be necessary. I was worried about my lining to but need not have bothered as mine was well above the requisite 8.

Good luck for Tx tomorrow PinkSS .. Hope your blessed with lots of frosties too..

Good Luck for EPU & your Gestone lesson tomorrow Miss Sagi.

As for us, we are taking a day trip up the west coast to Paternoster (a small coastal place Dr LR spends his summer holidays..) about 2 hours north of Cape Town.
