    Thanks Miss Sagi,
I haven't had much help from my specialists in terms of killer cells. I just looked at my results and it says a number CD56 positive cells is identified. I don't know if these means anything to you.

    Great results PinkSS...

We deal with MFI and have definitely been told that sperm quality is important in the initial fertilisation but mostly from day 3 onwards. If there are issues the embryo will struggle and may fragment. This has matched our experience too.
However we have also been assured that with a young, good quality egg, the day 3 issues can be resolved (the egg's 'energy' makes up the difference).

Lisa, you should attach your results to the immune thread as there are some warrior women on there who know quite a lot. I'm still relatively new when it comes to the immune stuff, but all together qe can probably wirk it out.
If you dont feel comfortable doing that attach the results in a PM and I'll see what I can decifer.

Miss Sagi - 15 is a great number. Did you manage to reschedule your safari?

Blinky - 30 follies is unbelievable...I totally understand being cautious. I don't know if lining can be too thick...mine is always on the thinner side and Dr W had me on a heap of medications to improve it. My first lining appointment Dr W said it was just under 8mm but had a 'beautiful triple layering', whatever that means!! Dr W said he was giving the donor an extra 3 days and therefore my lining would be perfect...but for the life of me, I cannot remember how thick it was at transfer!

Faith - 2 more sleeps. Not long now. How exciting.

Emski - Where are you holidaying in Qld? I'm in Cairns.

Pinkshootingstar - Looking forward to hearing your next embryo report...good luck for tomorrow. Re: sperm/embryo quality - I have heard that the sperm quality is more a factor in the second half of an embryo development.

Luca - 26 weeks...don't you just love feeling bub moving around. I SO miss being pregnant!! Re: gifts...our donor gave us a gift too and I love it and so treasure it.

KMP - I loved how you said 'pinch me'...6700 hcg, it's becoming more and more real!!

January - Thanks for the roll call...you are doing a much better job of it than I ever did!!!

Hoping4best - I'm in the same boat, so I have decided not to tell anyone about bub number 2...I'm still on maternity leave, so it may not be such a stretch to keep it a secret. Only a select few will know.

Kay - With us, we were asked to pick an embryo transfer date that suited us when the donor was available. Once that date was selected, they work backwards from there; eg; tests, treatment plan etc etc etc. They time or synchronise your cycle and the donors cycle. From memory it is either 12 or 14 days you are required to be there....it was in my day anyway, however, it is best to add on some days as a just in case the donors EPU is put back, which happens often.

Lisa - Miss Sagi had a good idea to join the immune thread...very valuable.

    Everyone else.

So our plan has changed somewhat ...
Our EPU has been pushed back again until Wednesday (4th). Dr Le Roux wants to get the follies to 20mm before trigger.
This will likely put our Tx to the following Monday (9th). And has meant I have had to pick up some extra Lucrin here in Cape Town.
Fortunately we allowed for this in booking our flights and don't fly out until the Wednesday (11th) but had we booked according to our treatment plan we would have booked our flights for the 8th.
I guess it's a good heads up for those still in the planning stage to allow for the unexpected and be prepared for changes.

    Hi all,
Wow, so much has been happening on here. I have been reading along with great excitement with all the progress - new donor selections, BFP's and new babies! (Congratulations GirlfromSydney!! Awesome news!).

To my fellow February ladies, Hope all goes well with your transfers and my fingers and toes are crossed for your TWW. Blinky, lucky you planned well for any delays! Hope it all goes smoothly from now.

Such a shame i couldn't be there the same time as anyone Never mind. I won't be there long. 3 more weeks to go till I fly out. I started on Synarel a couple of days ago, so no more pill for me now and its crazy but Im looking forward to each step of the protocol with the introduction of Progynova in a week and then even more crazy, when I get to start on the Gestone! Yep I must be weird! But I realise its more excitement for the trip and hopefully the BFP.

    Have an awesome weekend ladies.

Sunny, i've had to change 2 lots of accommodation and our safari. I still havent heard from the safari lodge so everything is still up in the air.
Feb girls going to dinner on 3rd, i may not be able to join you now as I may be on safari. I'll PM you when its locked in.
Blinky, gees they pushed you back nearly a week, i wouls have been in trouble again if I got pushed back that far. It sounds like all our donors and eggs are doing well so far.

I hope my 15 follies are growing nicely 😊

PinkSS – That’s a good fert report. Things are looking positive for you. Looking forward to your next update. All the best.

Blinky – Just as well you had allowed extra time in your stay. It’s so true, what you said about planning the trip, you never know how things will turn out. It may be prudent to add a few extra days, just to be safe. It’s good Dr LR is waiting till the eggs are ready.

Thanks Miss Sagi I will try and do that when I get back to work next week as my results are on my work computer.
