GFS: Congratulations on the safe arrival of your girls! Hope you're all doing ok.

AFM: Had my 13 week scan today and all was well. Little Miss was standing on her head for most of it... Have a good long weekend everyone!

Thanks ladies for your responses. I’ve emailed the agency and will hopefully get an update today.

GFS – Congratulations on the birth of your precious twins. What a blessing. You must be over the moon.

Patsy – Happy all went well with your scan.

    GFS congratulations! Wonderful news.

I was informed of my donor progress after each visit by CFC- follicles, size etc.

Raining like crazy today. Feb ladies must be so excited! Best wishes and my thoughts will be with you for a wonderful visit to Cape Town. My 48hr repeat hcg was 580 so all heading in the right direction. Tiredness creeping in. Hoping to start swim squad tomorrow morning. Excited to get back into a routine. Happy Australia Day weekend.

    Hi everyone

i haven't posted for a while but I think of you all often and I have been lurking of late.

Congrats to GFS on the birth of your girls and congrats to KMP on your BFP and great numbers .

To the February ladies...a massive good luck.

To those ladies and gents that may be lurking, wondering if DE in Cape Town is a good thing.....you will never regret it!! I am in awe of my son every minute of every day and it was the best decision that we ever made.

Jesse is 10 months old tomorrow. He is such a delightful little boy who smiles and giggles all day long. He is VERY tall for his age but it's not a surprise as our donor was over 6ft. His lip has now fully healed and is barely visible...the surgeon did a wonderful job. He started crawling 2 weeks before Christmas but he wants to stand all the time and gets frustrated that he can't walk yet. Our first Christmas was wonderful....I have dreamt of my family Christmas for almost 30 years, so it was a very special time.

    Love to all. Xxxx

Patsy - Good news on your 13 week scan.

DJ - We speak often but to say it again...I'm so excited for you.

MrsErinR - What date are you due?

GFS - What are your little girl's names?

To the ladies that were wondering about donor updates....a while before I left for Cape Town, I enquired about the progress of our donor (we went through EDSA), we were told that our donor was responding extremely well. I contemplated enquiring again just before we left, but I thought if all had gone to sh*t with our donors progress and I knew about it, it would make an already long flight even longer through worry. So I didn't ask. I decided that I would only worry about the things that I could change or have an influence. As it turned out, our donor needed another couple of days extra as she was not quite 'cooked' which is not a problem at all, but if I had known about it earlier, I would have worried/stressed and needlessly so. Once in Cape Town, the clinic kept me fully informed of our donors progress and then EPU numbers, fert rate, embryo progress including quality....I didn't need to ask, they just rang me and offered the info. BUT I have heard of other ladies that were not given that 'service'.

    Hi to everyone else.
