Thanks for thinking of me Patsy.... I went to the haematologist today and am going back for a blood test and to see him in 6 months. My immunity is still lower but ok and as for the leukaemia... I am in FULL REMISSION!!!! Woo hoo!!!
So, I am off to Cape Town and can now start planning my next cycle there. The other frosties I had have been destroyed as they are not viable (day 7 and still pre blast) so I will never use them.

Going to buy myself a Christmas present tomorrow... a bracelet with the orange ribbon for leukaemia. Feeling so so numb, relieved. happy, alive!!

    Hi everyone!!!

    Donna xx

Hi Donna, a huuge congratulations on your full remission! Its a subject close to my heart as 3 years ago, just a week after my hubby and I decided to look for a donor and start the 'baby project' as we called it , he was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. One moment we were planning a family, the next fighting for a life. Chemo, radio and 6 months later a full remission for him His been healthy and strong ever since and we will even use his fresh sperm this time as we go to SA (last time we used pre chemo frozen fellas). I wish you all the positive energy and mind and a very special and happy Christmas time!
Lots of love to all and Merry Christmas xxx

Welcome to all the lovely new ladies, is so great to see this thread continue to thrive it definitely was our lifeline when we thought we'd hit the end of the road. It's hard to believe i found you all just over a year ago and in a few weeks our family dreams will be a reality.

Im sorry I don't get on too comment often but want you to know you are all in my thoughts and it hurts to read the negatives and I feel your pain and send the biggest hugs and best wishes for your next steps.
Hugest congrats to the recent positives . MGC that is awesome news on your IUI AND Myheart looking very positive, great news.

    Woo hoo Dj, wonderful news.

January, looking forward to reading about your little ones arrival and lovely to read all new mumma's are doing well.

I'm guessing there will be a few more little ones getting ready to join us in the coming weeks. Sydneygirl, thembs how are you both doing with your twins? I'm 32.5 weeks and boys are doing ok, though I'm being closely monitored at the moment as they are growing well but below average with brain blood flow so We are on weekly CTG's and u/s to keep an eye on them. If they hold on Dr is not letting me go past 37 weeks because of possible placenta deterioration but not sure how my tummy can stretch anymore, it is super tight with baby a breeched and baby b transversed right under my rib.

Wherever you are at in your journey i wish you peace and strength, it really is such a tough path to tread and you are all amazingly strong and inspirational. Thank you for all your support. I wish you and your families the happiest of Christmas' and that 2015 is all you dream it be and more. xx

Hi Sunflower, thank you for thinking about me! I am doing good, considering how big i am now at 34+1 day with twins both are doing ok, both head down, praying for January babies after all this XMas rush! Had scan couple of days ago, all good and they booked to see me in three weeks which i think is a bit far away and i will have my girls by then will see.

Wishing all the girls and guys on this thread a very Merry christmas and a happy new year! May all your baby wishes come true!
I usually pop in to read the updates, but not post much, being just lazy, but i am thinking of you all!

2014 has not been one of my better years but the support and love shown to me through my leukaemia battle has been so encouraging, thoughtful and unforgettable. I recall receiving that same network of encouragement in 2013 when we headed off to CT. Just shows how amazing you all are. Some of us may never meet, others of us will. Just the same, I consider so many of you to be good friends and a big part of my fertility walk and I keep you in my thoughts and heart.
If I could wish anything for you all for Christmas and 2015, it would be health, love and a bubby.
From my humble little family to you all... Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and may all your wishes and dreams be fulfilled.

    Donna xxx
