Hi ladies, thank you all for kind words…
Hope4 - are you stopping in Dubai? I worked there for a while, very good discount designer hand bags..!
Em - how are you doing…? Not long to go…!! Thank you for the information on Feather – please extend warm hugs and congratulations to her and her dh..!
Laned - thinking of you in CT…sounds like you are making the most of it… I heard shopping is good for a transfer..! (That is what I tell my DH…!) Have you tried the Chinese herb - red peony for blood flow? my acupuncturist recommends it for two days during your period to help with flow…
KLM - you are amazing, truly… we have all been through so much and many give up. Most of us here have had time when we thought it may be enough but are not ready to stop… please keep trying, it will happen… your children will know how much they mean to you….
Patsy - have fun in CT..!
Mardi - when are you off to CT..?

AFM – waiting to hear from my DH as to if we should transfer in two weeks or wait for my next period…

Hi Ladies - thank you so much you are all so very awesome and have once again provided much needed reassurance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Mardi - Oh Hun, I am sorry I didn't read your post sooner. The depot can be injected either subcutaneously or intramuscularly. CFC have advised they don't mind either way. Subcut is probably easier for you if you haven't given an IM injection before. subcutaneous administration is easiest if you pinch up some tissue around your belly button (I have plenty to pinch) and then administer the dose into the pinched tissue. Hoping you have already administered and now able to relax a bit. It is crazy how we think we are fine and they have these mind spin outs!

Patsy - so excited for you Hun. Hope your enjoying yourselves. X

Williteverhappen - glad you are getting some down time. Although study!!! Looking forward to meeting you guys. Hope that you are well on the mend after not feeling well. Xx

Hope - I have volunteered to be contact person at Wazza's rooms for people contemplating going to SA. In this regard, I spend quite a bit of time answering emails, talking on the phone and have met a few women now, including one who is flying out the day before us and will meet up with a few of us from BH on 18/11. I am always happy to catch up for a cuppa, albeit the next couple of weeks are now a bit crazy with all our friends wanting to catch up with us before we go and professional development conference this coming w/end. We can try and catchup though i would really love to have a donor group in Brizzy for when William get older so he can meet other DE babies. Xx

AFM - appointment with Waz went well today and scan demonstrated all as should be. His scan also started things down below again. Thankfully, another worry now tackled.

Thanks againt in to all of you. Xxx

CAmom it must be around your test time. You've been in my thoughts and I hope it's good news.

Blinky & laned perhaps we could do something at a later date if you're both comfortable - maybe after you've returned laned. No pressure though as I completely understand if you prefer the forum. laned - Warren had offered to connect me with someone a while ago as I was a bit nervous going over to SA - it was probably you.

Embarrassing confession time - I have only just worked out that AFM means as for me - I thought AFM was a forum member.. I needed a laugh..even if it was at myself ;-)

It's funny you mentioned about being a contact person Laned and Hoping...

after I came back last time from SA, Warren mentioned having someone who needed DE and he had suggested me as a contact person for them as he was encouraging 'her' to go to SA too. He did say there were nervous about the idea. I gave him my details to pass on but never heard from anyone...

Oh well it could have been either one of you he meant then - I didn't take up the offer, I just felt a bit shy and awkward about it all at the time.

Seahorse1, Emski and I were chatting a long while back about creating a group where our kids could interact with other DE kids. We're both in melb too. I think it would be great.

Hi everyone, I have been reading along with you all for a few months now, but was waiting until my DP and I decided that we were going to go ahead with egg donation before I introduced myself. Due to an impending house purchase we have been putting a trip to SA off until next year, but have finally decided that end of March would be the best timing wise. I am really excited and nervous about it all, and can't wait to get the process rolling. I have made initial contact with CFC and we will be with Dr LR.

It has been wonderful to have this thread as a resource and it definitely played a big part in our decision to go to SA, so thank you to you all for making the decision an easy one.

I wish all of the November ladies the very best of luck for their upcoming trips and will look forward to reading about your experiences.

Hi All! After a long 20 hours flying time plus a 6 hour layover in London we made it home late last night from SA! I made my husband immediately take me to the lab for my blood test which was due on 11/3 and this morning we got the results HCG 221 so we it appears we are officially pregnant, so exciting!

To all of you going over I wish you much luck & success and if you want any advice let me know.

We really had a great time and being there during the whole 2WW kept me from obsessing too too much
