Default What items would you like on a kids menu?

Hi everyone I was wondering if you could help me out, I work for a small cafe and after having a child I have become more conscious of the food served on the kids menu. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for meals that you would like to see so hopefully we can incorporate some new ideas.
    Thankyou

A vegan/vegetarian option on a kids menu would be amazing!

Small sushi platters, mixed sandwiches, fruit platter, crackers cheeses and deli meat, basically platters of fresh healthy finger food. It would make such a change from the usual chips and nuggets amd my kids love finger foods.

Healthier options (flat bread pizza with ham, cheese, zuchinni and other veg, maybe bean nachos, homemade veg filled shepherds pie/lasagne

I get sick of only having the option of nuggets and chips or deep fried food - I can do that at home or Maccas!

Healthier pasta dishes, sushi is a great one. Hidden veg sausage rolls, anything that looks like treat food but is relatively healthy would be amazing!

Mini sausages would be something I'd order, or little chicken drumettes with honey soy marinade. A small serve of rice? Could be mixed veggie fried rice, or even tuna stirred through.. almost like a risotto. Whenever I see a kids menu it's always the same: fish and chips, chicken nuggets, hot dogs etc.
Also meat balls are usually popular.
Chicken or lamb skewers I'd definitely try.
We went out for dinner recently and I was really impressed after ordering chicken nuggets from the children's menu and finding they were actual home made, crumbed pieces of chicken breast as opposed to the usual oven baked factory made nuggets most places serve kids.
I'd just think outside the square a bit, make everything from scratch (nothing from frozen/packet) and keep it simple, nutritious and tasty.
If you do mini sausages use 100% beef (or chicken/pork)... those are things that are important to me when feeding my child.

    Good luck

Just the option of having veggies instead of chips would be wonderful.

I would love a few differant pasta sauces like carbonara, puttanesca instead of just bog sauce.

Skewers of meat and veg cooked on a grill.

    Grilled fish/ chicken/ beef

    Stir fry with nice noodles

Mini tasting platter with a few different finger food things to pick from.

A salad bar that had some deli meats and an egg on a side plate for a few dollars so the kids can have a try of things on the salad/veg bar.

Small kids sized serves of the adult menu

I would love the options of fruit or yogurt instead of icecream with the meal.

A pasta that isn't tomato based. I'd order pasta over the nuggets etc but spag bol is so messy!! The last thing I need is a child covered in pasta sauce while we are out!!
