Great pic of bub @TeamCarts !

My MS (all day sickness!) finally started yesterday at 8w2d. I thought I might have been one of the lucky ones that miss out but oh no I feel like I've been hit by a truck today! I'm exhausted and just generally feeling yuck. I don't know how I'm going to deal with weeks of this...

Hugs Teeja. I think mine might be starting to subside. I'm 11wks today. I hope it's gone completely by 12wks. I just keep reminding myself that it's all worth it.

Thanks @Funchu it definitely will be worth it and it's nice to know that something is still going on in there as its been a little while since we've seen bub and 2 weeks until we see it again.

Hope your MS is gone soon too!

I know what you mean. I panic a bit when I'm not sick. I'll be glad when I can feel bub moving!

Good news here. We had our 12 week / NT scan this morning.

Bub was not interested in being measured. The poor lady tried 3 attempts / methods, before sending us away for 30 minutes to walk around. Had a coffee, did some cartwheels & handstands (yes, in the medical building) and when we got back we got 2 minutes of good behaviour before s/he rolled over again and mooned us.

It was pretty funny, but stressful since we were worried she'd not be able to take the measurements. Ended up all good, all the important bits are there, and NT was 1.5mm. She suggested following up on my NIPS results too. She said they would definitely call if there was an issue, but often they'll give them over the phone.

I think I can finally exhale.

Lileitak.... however did you manage to do cartwheels while holding in all that water???? The lady on the phone, said I have to drink one litre of water and hold it for an hour before the test. I know I am going to be in pain with that, as just drinking a glass full usually requires a rush to the loo.

I struggle with that too MGCBertie (in fact almost wet my pants once holding bladder for a pelvic u/s!). My clinic said empty bladder then drink 600mls of water only (bit better than 1L) and my bladder was plenty full. Halfway through they actually made me empty it to get bub to move and picture was still fine.

That is crazy!! A cup an hour before is fine. I've always been told not to come in busting. I reckon for a morning appointment, between a glass of water and a coffee you're good.

Hello ladies, I would really love to join you guys. I’ve been waiting forever to join a due date group for years & at times didn’t think it would ever happen. I’m still early days, 7 weeks, so I know anything can happen. But right now, I’m pregnant & I want to enjoy every second that I can. Actually, it’s been hard to enjoy it as I’m so nervous after so many disappointments, but I’m trying my best to remain positive.

Today I had my very first scan & it was a wonderful moment. To see the little bub and especially to hear it’s precious heartbeat made me a bit teary. It’s 1cm & it’s heartbeat was 146bpm & I’m more than in love. EDD is 11th September.

I just can’t believe it has finally happened for us. It is so rewarding after being told so many times to give up & adopt. But I’m stubborn so I wasn’t taking no for an answer.

    Here is the little one

    Enjoy your weekend everyone
