Yay @MGC Bertie! So happy for you! My DH was like that too, so excited and asking so many questions. It was very cute!
@Ladydee so glad to hear your scan went well too sounds like you have a very sticky little bub

@MGC Bertie - that is brilliant news!

@Ladydee - I have a retroverted uterus as well, and I still needed the internal scan for my 10W last week. I have another scan next week for measurements (NT?) and I'm hopefully it will be a belly scan. Bub should be bigger, and the machines at the proper U/S places tend to be much better than the ones the OB / FS have in their offices.

@Funchu - Same here! I often find myself wondering, am I still pregnant? I think I'll be able to exhale at the 15 week scan, and (assuming) low risk results from the Verify / chromosome test. Bring on Feb!

So happy for you @MGC Bertie, @Teeja and @gingermillie, having great scans, what a relief!! Bertie my OB said he finds generally it takes IVFers longer for the news to sink in and sort of bond with the pregnancy...his theory is that we've usually had a few disappointments along the way and so its a bit of self preservation not to get too attached too soon, which I guess makes sense.

AFM I think it really only got 'really real' for me today - got the all clear from my Harmony test (only took a week and a day to come back!) and found out we're having a wee little girl. I'm officially in love 👧. FYI every old wives tale about gender for me was wrong!!

I am actually very worried about my non invasive genetic test after all I've read. (Damn you google!) Since these are not diagnostic tests, women can test negative (low) and have baby with an issue, and many women test positive (high) and it be false.

The concern is that physicians are not fully informed and don't pass the info that this is "not diagnostic" on to the patient.

Ultimately, a CVS or amnio is the only way to tell. And I for one, opted for this test to avoid the other two.

Someone said it earlier, and I agree - IVF makes you immune to shelling out money.

    Hi girls!!

I need to reconnect with BH, havent been on all year and I need to go a read the last couples of pages so I am up to date with everyone... I see a lot of new names high five to us all!

I am 16w3d and think i have felt a few early flutters from bub this week! very low and in line with the top of my knickers (hipster briefs), and definitely not gas working its way thru I've got an anterior placenta so wasnt sure if i would feel anything this early, but I did with DS around this time too. Yay I was starting to feel un-pregnant now that my spews and nausea have gone. Had one final massvie spew at 13 weeks and then it just went and by 14 weeks almost back to normal except Im still really tired.... Downs risk came back as 1 in 10,000 and ob says 90% its a girl!!!

I'll be back later for personals, sorry for the me post.

thanks MGC Bertie for the roll call update. I wonder if we'll get any September bubs?
