Hi @McG Bertie - nope never got a d5 frostie and struggled to get past d3 with freshies - for some reason my embryos were always cr@p quality... Never got an explanation even though I was on every vitamin known to man!! Ironically my last cycle was my worst - only got 5 eggs at EPU (averaged around 8 normally) and only the one fertilized 😩 (usually got 70% fert rates). So after that EPU I promptly cracked the sh!ts, resigned the day before my 3DT to take another job I had been offered, had many glasses of wine, popped 'the lone ranger' back at day 3 and voila! So maybe a combination of me mentally giving up (was toying with this being our last cycle, I was pooped) and I did go gluten/sugar/dairy free for 2 months prior... Lynn my FS also put me on a long down reg cycle for the first time... But who knows really!!! Have had 2 scans (one at monash ivf and one at my OB), another one booked for Weds next week. When's your first scan? When can you come off your immune meds? Don't think I'm weird but I cheered for you when you got your BFP, reading along - far out, you deserved it matey ☺️.

Is anyone still on Clexane, Prednisilone, prog pessaries etc? I'm almost 11 weeks and I have to say I am finding it harder every day to do my Clexane jab!! Gawd I hate them. My Ob seemed to think I could wean off all meds around 12 weeks but would love to hear what others have been advised... He was a bit flippant about stopping them so wondering if I should check with Lynn B...

Am I the only IVFer who only had 1 blood test? I didn't get to see my levels rise, but had a scan at 6+2 and saw the heartbeat. I had another scan last week (8wks) and heard the heartbeat and saw how much bub has grown. It almost looks like a human! It's amazing and going SOOOOO FAST!
@Funchu I think once you've seen the heartbeat the hcg numbers become less relevant... How amazing is seeing / hearing that heartbeat ❤️❤️!! Congrats on your pregnancy!

Default IVF Babies due July/August/September 2015!

@Sally girl - how are you going Hun? Any scans yet?? x

    @ Bubs4kylee - fantastic results!!!

Congrats on the scan @apolly Ive had two scans but both of my pics are terrible and dark! Looked much better on the screen....

Thanks heaps for the roll call @MGC Bertie , big help! Hope all is well with you xx

Welcome to the due group @MrsSG and a big congratulations Yep, I'm 7+4 and still on Prednisolone, Clexane injections plus a tonne of other stuff (Wazza patient)....I've also added in daily Progesterone intra-muscular injections (into my butt). Apparently I get to start weaning off stuff around the 12 week mark.... I'm counting down the days, it's exhausting keeping up with it all! And my belly and butt are super-ouch-o and bruised too!!!

Hi @Teeja, congrats on the lovely rising results xx

That's so awesome about your scan @Funchu! My next one will be at 8+3 and I'm excited to see bub bigger and hopefully looking more human-like/less prawn-like lol

Hello to anyone I've missed this time xxx

AFM - 7+4 weeks. Still bleeding on and off and am now on strict bed rest plus a coupe of meds to help stop any contractions....can only get up to go to the loo It's definitely harder than what I thought but I'll do anything if it means we finally get our take-home bubba. 3rd scan booked in for next Thursday unless I ring and ask for an earlier one.

Bubs4Kylee.... that's a great Hcg number. I think after what we've all been through, we're all allowed "me posts" :-))

Teeja.... good luck with this pregnancy. Hopefully your two little angels are looking down and wishing you on.

Funchu.... wow, you must have the patience of a saint to wait all the way from first BT to first US. Good on you!! But, yes, now you're having scans, you don't need BTs.

MrsSG.... my first scan is not until the 13th of January, with my clinic. If all is well, I will say bye to them, and hand over to my immune specialist, who is going to be my ob too. Yes, as I understand it, all the immune meds will continue until 11-12, but I won't find this out until I see him next on 19th Jan. But gosh those 60 Clexanes hurt - the first half is fine, but to get the second half of the syringe in hurts like mad.

Ladydee.... sorry to hear you're still bleeding and on bed rest - that must be doing your head in. Good luck for your next scan, not long now.

AFM....I had another BT today at 29dpo (or 5w6d). My Hcg is 21,000 (slightly more than doubled every 48hrs this week) and progesterone is 140 (slightly dropped since last week, but still good). I've been feeling a bit "icky" since Tuesday, nothing major, but had wondered whether I was imagining it, but there you go, it's still there. A part of me says I should be ever so happy, but the realistic part says I still have a long way to go until safe.

Am interested in knowing if you plan a natural birth or C-section, and what the pros and cons, especially if you're on the older end of the scale? I know this will be a topic of conversation when I see my ob in two weeks time, so want to have a few ideas ready.

Hey girls, I have just returned from a weeks holiday with no internet. It took me a while to catch up with where everyone is at. I will stay in touch again from now.
I'm supposedly 8 weeks pregnant, however I'm not getting many symptoms at all. my u/s is this Thursday hopefully there is a heart beat and everything is ok, it hasn't sunk in for me yet. I still forget I'm pregnant so hoping an ultrasound might help make things more real.
The toughest thing has been trying to hide the not drinking the alcohol. Ohh and lying down 5 times a day with the progesterone seems a bit odd lol

Oh yeah. I knew I didn't need any more BTs after my first scan, but I thought it was strange that my FS didn't do repeat bloods in between my first BT and first scan, when most other IVFers seem to have them as standard practice.

Lol. I was forced to have patience as I wasn't even offered BTs! I did do several FRERs though, to watch the line get darker, and 2 digis to see it go from 2-3 to 3+. I had my first BT a day early and it was over 200, so I guess they decided it was high enough to warrant further BTs unnecessary.

@Ladydee - here are my 2 scan pics (6+2 and 8w). It looks so much more like a mini bub in the 8w scan!

Default IVF Babies due July/August/September 2015!

@Funchu - your pics are waaaaay better than mine!!! I could see bub great on the screen and it was easy to see the teeny heart beating away but the pics are just black! When I look closely, I can see the two little x's where my Ob measured bub...

    Hi

Can I join. I'm 6 weeks pregnant, and due on 29th August. My scan is on Thursday to see if we are all good and I'll be seven weeks then. I really don't want to do the scan, worried if it turns out bad. I'm starting to feel nauseous though and soo tired.
