Twinkley... I'm the 29th August too!! Go back and have a look at the roll call on page 27, as it's interesting to see everyone's due dates.

    Morning ladies.

Not or sure if anyone else is in this rain? But it's sux! We were going deep sea fishing today but that is not happening now.......

    Anyway.....

twinkley - welcome Hun. Looks like August is going to be a busy month for us all...My due date is August 21 which is also my birthday.

Ladydee - I haven't had any aches like that. I would say it has a lot to do with the walking you did yesterday. But everyone is different. Hope it stops aching soon... I'm pretty active and do a lot of running and obstacle racing so I don't feel any different. one thing I do have is a lot of pulling and cramping in my uterus. I do keep worrying about that as its all new to me..but when I google it most are saying that it's just your uterus adjusting and stretching.

MGC - how are you Hun? That's good you get to do BT's weekly. I'm going to as well. We also put 2 embies back in. Makes me think both took as on 23dpo my hcg was 7831.....I wish I could think of something else though. I just hope I don't worry for the whole pregnancy. Have you started to feel seedy yet?

    Anyway hugs to all.
    Kylee

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! Great to see some new people!!
@akakura all seems to have been ok since stopping my progesterone, as you said the drs know when the time is right. I had my last shot when I was 10w2d so it would have been in my system for another 3-4 days. Yes I had heard the placenta kicks in around 9 weeks so here was an overlap which was good. Also feeling much better since stopping, less nausea and a bit more energy.
@MGC Bertie - welcome and congrats! And thanks for the due date chart! Looks like I am one of the first few due! So happy to see so many due dates!!!
    @TeamCarts what a beautiful scan!!

I have my 12 week scan next Friday 2nd and cannot wait!! I'll be 12 weeks on Wednesday 31 dec :-)

I have booked my first appointment with my obstetrician on the 12th of jan. With regards to the public v private discussion I am not sure how it all works, I don't have private health cover but am seeing a private ob but hoping to be able to go through the public system. I live in the southern highlands and the private hospital here doesn't have a maternity ward so everyone had to use the public hospital. I will have to pay my ob approx $4-5k but not sure about the hospital yet, hopefully find out at my appointment.

    Have a lovely day everyone!!

Congrats on the bfp @McG Bertie! You must be so amazingly positive & patient to do ivf for so long, so its awesome to see u here.
Could u pls add me to the roll call due 10 July and I'm in Newcastle. @Annerley its a small world! I will be going Newcastle private, I had ds there too 2.5 yrs ago. @bubs4kylee ur bub does have a great due date, its my bday too!! Congrats on ur bfp, another amazing LTIVFWW!
And congrats @Twinkley on ur bfp, what a great Xmas present! My beta tests were only 4-7 days apart. 12 Jan seems so long to have to wait! Could u just go to ur gp in the mean time & get a referral for a BT just for peace of mind?
I have my 12 week scan on Tues, I'm getting pretty excited about it!!

@bubs4kylee how exciting that it could be twins!! My beta was 9749 at 22dpo so I was wondering the same but ended up with a singleton. I only had 1 embryo transferred so knew that the possibility of twins was extremely low for me.
Funnily enough a friend of mine said one of the things that she thinks about when she considers having kids is that her aerolas will turn into pancakes as she puts it. Luckily mine didn't seem to change so hopefully yours stay nice and pink! Enjoy that champagne in hospital too.
@Ladydee it sounds to me that the symptoms you were experiencing was exercise related. How are you feeling now? I can understand that it would be hard for you not to worry.
@apolly it is such a small world!! Wow, only 2 days left til your scan, that's come around quickly...very exciting!!
@MGC Bertie try not to worry, there is such a large range with beta numbers but I know that's easy for me to say! The fact that the numbers are rising is a great sign. I think from memory that the rate of the increase isn't as high as time goes on.
@Twinkley huge congrats to you!! Lovely to see you getting your much deserved bfp!

Annerley.... thanks for the reassurance. Yes, I did a bit more googling and found that the doubling rate does slow down, as it increases, so I'm feeling better about it today.

AFM.... Sitting here having my IVIG. Hospital doctor couldn't find a vein and in the end went with my arm, so I'm not able to straighten my arm as it stops the drip! What a pain!!

However, my immune specialist, Dr M has just given me a referral for weekly beta + progesterone tests, which he said to continue until 9-10 weeks, so that's a great relief. He also said to do the FBC (monitoring Neupogen) every two weeks.

And when I asked about who he would refer for an ob who is happy with immune protocol, he said "no, he will do it." I said that I didn't know he actually delivers babies, but he said yes, only for those with high risk immune issues. Great, I didn't really know I was high risk!! He said to make an appointment with him in 2-3 weeks time. I'm really wondering what his fee will be, as I'm sure it's going to be on the high end, so not really sure. But not having to find an ob, and go through my whole life story might be a blessing.

How is everyone doing? Congrats and welcome to the new additions
@bubs4kylee - my nips went dark during pregnancy and then lightened up to pink again They went lighter quicker in the shape of my DD's mouth! Lol. It was the same as my linea negra....it just faded away over a few months.

AFM - I've had a rough trott over the last couple of days with two decent bleeds and aching thighs and a lower back. This is my 5th pregnancy this year so as you can imagine, DH & I have been freaking out, to say the least! I seen a good heartbeat at last weeks scan at 6+1 weeks and then unbelievably seen one still beating away this morning and spot on growth confirming I'm 7 weeks exactly. I thought for sure that it was all over again but our little one is a fighter and still hanging on My Ob/FS couldn't see where the blood was coming from but he could see bub was still under a lovey thick lining and the sac and yolk looked good also. Big fat phew!!!

Other than all this, I've had on and off nausea (but not too horrendous) and have vomited once last Friday in a restaurant loo.....felt sooo much better afterwards! Like, instantly! Fatigue is definitely the worst thing, I have to keep having a rest after doing anything! I went to Seaworld on Friday and then was at Movieworld White Christmas on Sat night when I had my first bleed so maybe I over did it? I was pretty exhausted and dragging myself around like a zombie which was very silly in hindsight. Lesson learnt!

Ladydee.... so glad that your scan today turned out all well. Time and time again I read about women bleeding during pregnancy and that it all turns out fine. Let's hope this is the one for you.

Thanks Hun I agree that I've read that plenty of times too but even though I was/am trying desperately to find some sort of reassurance in that, it's hard to not lump it with "plenty of women have a m/c then go on to have a perfectly healthy pregnancy" or "once you see the heartbeat, the chance of m/c becomes a tiny % chance" ........ah nope, not for me unfortunately Anyway, I'm sounding like a negative-Nancy when I'm actually feeling pretty good today How are you doing Hun? How have you been feeling? When is your first scan? I can't wait to celebrate with you seeing your very first little heartbeat and getting a picture to keep! It's amazing and definitely makes things feel more real Xx
@Twinkley - I've been thinking about you! How are you doing? Did you do those announcements you were going to? How exciting!!! Have you had any bloods or scans since your first one....or have some coming up soon? Xx

@Annerly thanks so much for asking about me hun xx

Have been off the grid for awhile, quietly $hitting myself with a number of big bleeds, trips to ED etc. But thank God have made it to the 12wk mark - had my scan yesterday, and both bubs are so far, so good. Measuring to date, and they're both the exact same length, low risk for Down's etc.

My EDD is 8 July, but most likely they'll arrive sometime in June 😊
