Hmmm. I should update my signature...

The next plan of attack for my sluggish fetus is a blood test tomorrow and another one on Monday to see if the hcg is increasing. If it IS increasing, then another ultrasound. I've have a feeling this will drag on for several weeks..

How @leyshoja that sucks... But its good that you'll get frequent updates.

I've been in the Epworth ER all day. I've had trouble breathing / rib pain for a few weeks and almost came here last night. Decided to call my GP, who ended up referring me on anyway.

I've had, x-rays, lung scans and ultrasounds of my major organs. I'm actually glad to be here because I started spotting this morning. Not a lot, but enough to be worried. The nice doctor got them to check on the bub too, and we saw the heartbeat!

Didn't get the heart rate, but I'm happy the heart is beating. I'll get the details from my FN during my planned scan Monday.

Now I wait up see if I have a blood clot in my lung... Fun fun.

Hope you all are having a better day that I. Xx

So after 6+ hours in the emergency room, the diagnosis is viral pleurisy. Very happy it's nothing too severe but painful as hell.

I'm off for my blood test today but now am certain it's a waste of time. My microscopically small bladder had become normal size again and my 3 per night toilet visits stopped the night before last. I'm surprisingly calm about it since I've had a week and a half of expecting it. If there's something wrong I'm just grateful it's happened at 7 weeks rather than 12 or worse !

It's viral, so no treatment plan. I just have to wait it out, and manage the pain. And it is PAINFUL. At least I got some panadine forte which makes me feel nice and floaty (tho quite nauseous).

Also, I was looking through the scans this morning, and they did capture the heartbeat - a respectable 136 bpm. But I did see the notes say the baby is 6W, 2D, and I think it should be 3 days... Not sure how much that matters.
