    Hi girls,

Just the one embryo went in - I'm not fussed as long as it grows and is healthy. FX

Wow that's a lot for the bloods but I guess it does look at all the HCG levels and hormones to make sure. My first cycle - I guess I should just go by the book for now.

@layshoja wonder if we'll end up having babies the same day.
Oooh could very well happen ! When is your ultrasound? I'm on Wednesday, can't wait !

@KayzB and any others at Monash Melbs...

Were you anxious skipping the third (or any) BT? I feel like I'm so nervous something will go wrong I'm paying more to settle my nerves.

Oh, and did you have to pay for the scan too? That I don't want to miss.

And here's me worrying that my clinic only do the initial pregnancy test then no further bt's at all ! I wonder why they don't ?

@lileitak I was fine without it hun, but can completely understand the anxiety of 'not knowing' for another week.

So rather than do at Monash, why don't you instead ask for a BT at your GP (you can even get it done on the same day that you would've had your Monash BT) - then you'll still know what your levels are, without the extra cost 😊

God - I sound so cheap, lol. I'm more annoyed with the surprise charges than actually paying.

I don't think you are cheap at all just because you are questioning the outrageous rort that ivf is. I think it's disgraceful what they charge us !!

I agree I am paying just to be safe and settle my nerves too. I think they definitely pray/price on that.

I am nervous that if I stray from the system something will go wrong. Oh well what's another 300 when we spent this much! Having a child is expensive enough but hopefully all will be worth it. No lavish Christmas present for the fam this year :-)

Yah more pregnant ladies - it will be a baby boom in July/August/September!
