If the house looks feral all over... you could do a notification to DHS or their interstate equivalents. If the place is rotten inside, they may become the lucky recipients of a clean up order and the babysitters of a skip bin in their driveway for a week.

I seriously doubt that any council would get involved unless it was a huge eyesore or fire hazard.

Ha ha we let dd have nappy free time in the back yard and she's been know to let one drop, but we hoes it away immediately.

Keywords right there... 'Nappy free time' and 'back yard'. Nothing funnier than a little kid following around the family dog... Synchronised dump time.

What do I think? Surely everyone would agree that that kind of behaviour is revolting? Who could possibly be okay with throwing used nappies out on the front lawn?? I'm sorry you have to live next door to that.

    Ew.

Yeah, it's pretty gross to just throw nappies out on the front lawn.
In my house they get put in a bag til the end of the day where they get chucked in the outdoor bin.

But I also think it's gross not to flush the poo down the toilet and just throw a poo in the bin. Each to their own I guess.

Unhygienic! I agree with PP in regards to raw sewage.
A dog may also get into it. I know my dog likes to try and sniff out Ds's nappies (even in nappy bags) if I leave them near the back door.

Definitely ok to label them bogan ferals - throwing any rubbish just out the door on the lawn, let alone nappies is pretty feral to me...
