Default Emma-roid visits at 37 weeks!! Aghhh advice please

So im 37 weeks pregnant and have just gotten my first hemorrhoid a few days ago
I went to see dr yesterday who said its clotted and she tried to squeeze it with no luck and offered to cut it for some relief but im too scared so said no
Ive been using rectinol, having salt baths, witch hazel, even tried apple cider vinegar. .. ouch!!!!!! But im still in pain
I didnt get them with my first pregnancy and I stay pretty regular and drink water.. i have noticed this pregnancy that everything generally feels "heavier" down there even when I try do my pelvic floor exercises. I do clinical pilates once a week so have kept pretty fit but now I have to stop as I can barely walk or sit. I feel so horrible that I can barely squat down to cuddle dd..
So will it go away before birth or will I be in pain until then?
Any advice appreciated but please no scary horror stories
