Girls if baby has no interest in food or head control would you still start on solids? I'm scared.
I was advised by CHN to start solids at 5.5 months due to poor weight gain. At the end of the day DS hated solid food and wouldn't have a bar of it until this week at almost 7 months. If they aren't ready there is no point. We just fed him up with plenty of formula and he is back on track weight wise and now enjoying having food at his own pace.
If they aren't ready you would basically be force feeding and creating negative associations IMO. I went with my mummy instinct to hold off and I think I made the right choice.
