    Default Hospital baby blankets

A parenting page that I follow on fb had a post about the striped hospital baby blankets and I was shocked by the amount of people commenting that they 'borrowed' them. Most justified it by saying that it was the first blanket their baby used.

How many hubbers have 'borrowed' these blankets?

Nope! My baby was born in January during a heat wave so we ditched the blanket after the first day

No, I was required to bring my own for both. I still have both their baby blanket (both born in winter). ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1414644641.743300.jpg

Errmmm.. yes I did, for my first baby. It wasn't a blanket though, just a sheet-style wrap.
Don't know why I did it, I was just young and silly I suppose.

No. Taking the blanket would never have even occurred to me. We were given the beanie they put on her though.

The midwife gave it to me when we took our son home. I love it as a momento

You'd be surprised what people take home from hospitals... We no longer allow parents to leave the ward with their baby in the cot when they're being discharged because people take them home... Yes, they take the plastic cots AND the frame they're on home.
