My friends range in age from 15 years younger than me to 20 years older. I think physical age doesn't matter. Some people are young souls, others old souls. You just gel with some better, regardless of age.

It doesn't bother me at all. Because DH is a lot younger than me, we have friends that are 10 years younger than me, and friends that are over 15 years older than me. We tend to hang out with the people around my age or the older friends mostly, but not always. Only because most of the younger friends we have don't really have the same interest as us at the moment.

Not at all.. One of my closest friends is 13 years older than me. Don't even notice the age gap.

Doesn't matter at all I'm 25 and I have friends around my age and friends twice my age. I love that I have different relationships with them all.

Not for me. One of my closest friends is 20 - I'm almost 10 years older than her.

I think having friends at a similar life stage and who can relate to the influences that you grew up in is lovely but I have had some wonderful friends as much as 30 years older than me. I have work friends who are 14 years younger than me. The diversity and different perspectives are fantastic.
