    Default Wax during pregnancy

Is it ok to wax down there towards end of pregnancy?
With my first two I just got my husband to shave for me.
I am thinking of waxing this time so it's cleaner.
Main purpose for this is to it's easier for the midwives during birth.
Anyone has wax done during late pregnancy?
    Thanks

If you do get it done, do it a few weeks before you're due. Are you a waxer normally? From what I've heard, pregnancy is not the best time to start waxing because things are all a bit more sensitive. If you're a seasoned pro, then go for it.

I'd just like to add, don't do it for the midwives. We don't care at all.

Yep. With my last pregnancy I waxed right up until a week or two until I gave birth. I plan to this time too. I don't believe there are any risks with it.

I waxed 3 days before . I've just started laser hair removal and best thing ever. Only had 1 treatment and it's been a month and barely any growth already

In your opinion do you think laser is just as painful or more than waxing?

I waxed right up until 2 weeks before giving birth.

I think waxing is definitely more painful than IPL, but you can't get IPL when pregnant.

With DS I had a wax a week before I was due.
With DD I had her 3 weeks early and was due for a wax and hair colour the day she was born. I ended up shaving before I left for hospital and in the midst of labour kept yelling out that I was freshly shaved. Thankyou gas!

You can get waxed but it will hurt like a mofo.

I've waxed at about 34 weeks with all my babies. The only hassle for me was trimming it short to make it easier - really hard to do that when you can't see.
