    Default Christmas baking

Blatantly stealing the idea for this thread from @anewme

For all the bakers, what are you baking this christmas?

I make gingerbread biscuits and mini Xmas puddings (made with fruit cake) every year. I'm looking fit something new to try

I always make iced shortbread biscuits that we have with bubbly while we put up the tree.

I'm doing Florentines this year. Saw them on the Great British Bake Off recently and thought they were quite Christmassy as they have mixed dried fruit, cherries, almond and chocolate. Can't wait to make them.

I'll also be doing gingerbread with the kids and a chocolate Christmas pudding (as I don't like traditional Christmas pudding!).

Will be definitely doing some baking this year! Maybe making our own gingerbread house. Will be blatantly stealing ideas of this thread too! I love Christmas.

Gingerbread is my go to. This is my last house. It was too soft because it was so humid and ended up falling apart. Tasted amazing though!

Wow I'm impressed - I've not yet tried a gingerbread house, I'm too scared it will collapse!

I always make gingerbread, really boozey rum balls and fruit mince parcels (wrapped in filo pastry instead of shortcrust so they look like mini bonbons).
