Default where is your dream holiday?

So - after a month long holiday, I am back ... and have the post-holiday blues

so cheering myself up with thinking about all the places I am planning on still going some day.

Where is your dream holiday? Where would you LOVE to go one day? Where would you love to take your kids ...

Oh those post holiday blues suck don't they?

I'm lame - I like to keep going back to the same places, so back to Europe, back to Japan... Id love to see South America and New York but I'm super phobic and think I would be scared the whole time.

My holiday dream when DS is a bit older is an Alaska cruise, then travel across Canada on the Rocky Mountaineer (glass roofed train), staying at the super fancy hotel at Lake Louise on the way. Just need to drum up an awesome inheritance or rich fella first :-)

I really, REALLY want to do an Alaskan cruise - and yeah the Rocky Mountain train. Its on my must-do list.

Mellie - we went to Disney World in Florida (before kids though) which was awesome. Euro-Disney in Paris when DD was 6, but to be honest we found that pretty lame (DD loved it though).

We'd love to go back to Antarctica when DS is older (and can remember it)! Next time we'll probably go from South America, so I'd love to do a trip that includes South Georgia and the Falklands.

I'd also love to see Greenland and Iceland - love the polar regions!

We are looking into a Disney Alaskan cruise after we go on the Caribbean one, just want to see if we like cruising first.
My dream holiday would be to go all over Europe. Just spend months going from place to place.

Welcome back, KatiesMum, and thanks for the awesome thread about your trip.
Our last 'dream trip' was France- 2 weeks in a Paris apartment, just soaking up the food, sights, and atmosphere, then a week in a house in Provence- again, enjoying food, wine, etc. Our boys were 2 and 4 at the time.
Our next trip (6 weeks in may/june 2016) will be a loop of Germany, Austria, Nth Italy and Switzerland. The kids will love running around the Sound of Music hilltops, I want to see Eagles Nest, Opera in Verona and lots of train trips thru the Alps to Jungfrau. Also, a few fun times in a Munich beer hall. xx

I would love to see Canada!

One thing on my bucket list is to travel to Hawaii and visit the Pearl Harbor memorial.
